ToneDef (DEPRECATED)

NOW AVAILABLE HERE: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bytestemplar.tonedef

TONEDEF IS NO LONGER FOR SALE! (AND NO LONGER HAS ADS!)

MASSIVE THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO PICKED UP THE APP OVER THE YEARS. :)

ToneDef is now OPEN SOURCE and forkable on GitHub: https://github.com/Fortyseven/ToneDef

** Check back soon for a new, ad-free build of the newly opened ToneDef under a new package name, including some requested features and bug fixes.**

------------

ToneDef is a small, but powerful tone dialer application featuring DTMF, bluebox, and redbox tone generation. Use the keypad, enter a predefined sequence, or select an entry from your contact list.

There are other tone generators on the market, but when I really needed one...well... I was left with the urge to write my own. Hopefully this one works out for you, too. ;)

Feel free to suggest anything that might make this a better application, and let me know if anything is broken.

(PERMISSIONS NOTE: The READ_CONTACTS permission is only used for 'dial from contact' feature. INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE are only used for advertisements.)

Recent changes:
* Rewrote a good chunk of the backend (again). As a result, dialing strings are now available in the BlueBox!

* Added support for ';' user wait command in dialing strings

* Unified visuals across tablet/phone/GoogleTV

* Moved menus up to the Action Bar on Android 3.0+

* More to come...

Ok but... The UK dial tone is incorrect.

A few more kinks. The tones are accurate and there is contact support (the phone icon), but a few more things. One, it could use an auto skip of home country and area code. Two, it should interpret + as 01 or other international dial code.
