This is the free/basic version - it lets you get a feel for the application and lets you find out if it works with your vehicle / obd2 adapter combination; but may contain some small bugs including not working on some nissan/chrysler/subaru ECUs. The paid version has support for more vehicles and ECU types, looks a lot nicer, and works with more cars / trucks

The paid version has more features (HorsePower,Torque, 0-60 , quarter mile tests, graph data, map / track views) + no adverts and exra dial/display types! and better ABS / Knock sensor support, Transmission temperature support for some makes of car / trucks (GM / Ford, etc), and Turbo Boost on many more vehicles (including VW)

**PLEASE NOTE!** Any reports of hanging or freezing after quitting the app is due to a bug in the HTC Evo 4G and Galaxy Tab, this can be triggered by using the Pandora/Vlingo/Aldiko bluetooth enabled apps. Disabling Pandoras new bluetooth settings fixes the problem, but HTC/Samsung need to release a fix. Please contact their support and encourage them to fix, Thanks!

The pro version supports USB ELM adapters which are use 'Prolific' or 'FTDI' chips

* Update: A freeze/hang workaround has been found after a great amount of effort and is available in the full version in the General Preferences settings!

Recent changes:
Look for the pro version, it has many more features than the lite!

* Workaround for Galaxy Tab2 OS bug
* Crash fixes

PLEASE NOTE! If you are using Cyanogen or AOKP/AOSP, you may need to get the latest nightly builds to fix a problem with their bluetooth drivers (causing issues for bluetooth connectivity)

*The full version(after weeks of effort)has a workaround for the hang on exit issue that is caused by the bluetooth drivers on some handsets.

Torque app by Ian Hawkings for $4.71. Well, that’s not much to say about it, except that it provides more info about your car than your car is willing to tell you on her own. In other words, it monitors all the cars onboard diagnostics and tells you exactly what your car is doing at the moment. So, if you are able to make use of many important info like temps, boost, voltage and many others, you should definitely buy it or at least try free lite version first. https://market.android.com/details?id=org.prowl.torque&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsIm9yZy5wcm93bC50b3JxdWUiXQ.. Pros: tons of info you car doesn’t provide you with. Cons: pricy, helpful for car fans only.

Question, I emailed but no response. I have a 94 Mitsu 3000GT, it has a OBD2 connector, but runs on a MUTII/III protocol, with this decode it? The answer was no, get this to work with the MUTII/III protocol, and I know 50 peeps that would pay $$ for it.

No problems People keep saying it doesn't work yet they describe how its not working and it sounds more like they don't know how to use this program. I've pulled wrenches for 6 years and I'll tell you this program has replaced my obd2. Works perfect on multiple phones and with every car I have tested with an obd2 port. Works. Works well period...

What happened? Why did you take away the menu? I've used this before with no problems. I have no options. All I am able to do now is add displays none of which are menu options to read or erase codes. Does not work with HTC Desire anymore.

Works fine - clumsy interface What with the material design release, apps like this look very dated - it's just not a good user experience.

Fantastic Really rounds out my tools. Its nice to have the immediate lookup via web for diagnostic steps. And its free! I might try the pro version. Has helped isolate a Maas air sensor hiccup
