User reviews of Beat the Traffic
Just horrible. It's pretty bad but some of the apps like Waze are getting shitty. First off, you only get two routes unless you buy the pro version. App has no provision to know your location when setting up your route. Secondly, app randomly logs you off and doesnt save your user id and pw Thirdly, route times can be insanely inaccurate. For example, say you are just creating your route. Before you save it, the app gives you the estimate time. As soon as you save the app, say a second or two later, the time is way off, always shorter than the first route. There should be a way to report congestion. Often, you report an incident and the app either gives you an error message or it just saves it, asking you about it the next time you use the app. The weenie developers at BTT can't seem to fix these bugs. Sadly, I still use it bcuz the traffic feed is a bit different than with Google maps. Waze is hit and miss. In my area, I am finding many people not using Waze and using Google map traffic (which has improved a lot) or Apple Maps traffic for those who are using an iPhone. I am also using Inrix as well. Basically, I dont use just one app to get the "traffic picture". btt is affiliate with inrix. both now block me in play store from leaving a review. goes to show you how they shape the popularity of apps.

uses google maps/traffic data. can only save one route. Cant see your route on map after u save it. gives pseudo real time updated info (ymmv) after you save it as a route and it's not very accurate eg. parade route in downtown for planned event, didnt mention it at all. no automatic location feature in determining start route. Estimated times are way off. Real times are much longer. Dl Waze instead. Has good l data this is #useless #uninstalled

Loads and starts. Automatically finds my location and shows traffic - simple and convenient. Easy to understand.

Was a good app Used to have a + and - to zoom in and out. Now it just zooms in with a touch. Pain in the butt if you have only one hand free. Also used to tell us which lane had the accident. Not anymore. My driver used to love hearing me give them heads up. Can't with this app. Uninstalling.

Wow. Cannot use in my car. This app needs to be functional in landscape mode. I can't hold the phone and drive at the same time.

Used to be good Can't stand the new UI, Used to be way more user friendly, not sure why they changed it when a lot of people are having issues with it. It worked great before.
