Trillian

Trillian is an instant messaging app that works on phones, tablets, and desktops while keeping your chats neatly synchronized between all of them! We think conversation should be easily shared between all of your devices, not trapped as text messages on your phone. Here's how we do it:

• INSTANT MESSAGING: Your unique Trillian username can be used to send unlimited messages free of charge. Trillian uses your existing data plan and/or WiFi.

• ANYWHERE: Trillian's continuous client feature delivers your chats instantly between all of your connected devices. In addition, Trillian automatically silences push notifications on mobile devices if you're active on a desktop - no more dealing with a phone buzzing on your desk all day!

• SIMPLE: Trillian places a strong emphasis on fast and reliable message delivery and a beautiful, easy-to-use interface.

• SECURE: All communication with Trillian servers uses TLS to ensure third-parties can't read your chats.

• INTEROPERABLE: Of course, Trillian wouldn't be Trillian without support for Facebook Chat, MSN, Google Talk, AIM, ICQ, Yahoo!, and Jabber.

Recent changes:
• Notification improvements.
• Mobile indicator can now be disabled.
• Fixed issue with not being able to send photos from gallery.
• Fixed issues with large and empty bubbles.

This app is awesome for cross service and cross platform IMing.

This is a great multiple-protocol IM client. It looks nice and it's easy to manage your chats.

Currently the best multiple protocol messenger for Android. Ugly UI, non existing support but the software is working.

I've been using this for a while. now getting hacked. I keep getting people in my chat that I don't know. any suggestions? I've been deleting the chats, otherwise you can deny/block, but I keep getting more.

Definitely a top 3 for me. I'd rather like to be able to conveniently change status with a Widget or have a widget that has some control over accounts in some way. An option to disable the Trillian notification would be nice as I can open it via status bar when I get a IM.

Pretty good... I really like it other than when I turn my phone off and back on later I get a bunch of annoying alerts that someone's messages me when the phone was off... I like to message on my computer when the phone is off... It's one "bing" after another, sometimes for a full minute! I do however like the layout of the messenger and it servers it's purpose fairly well. So far it's been my favorite messenger to use AIM with.

Still using it but the quality is worsening I got used to use trillian since '97on pc. On mobile its the same, really fun and fast to use the app through the different chat systems (too bad skype is not available anymore and no voice/video chat with google chat available either for a long time now). Last half a year I see that trillian is starting to slow down my phone, advanced task killer says trillian is hogging my system. But since I got an old xperia mini pro with limited resources, could be that the issue is on my side, not sure.

Good I like it. Pro version heavily overpriced though. However, Windows Live not working, no updates from developer.
