Key Features:
• Carrier IQ Detection - Detects the existence and locates the presence of Carrier IQ on your phone
• Arms User With Information - Allows you to make better purchasing decisions of handsets and network operators

More information on Carrier IQ

While Carrier IQ is said to be designed to help measure performance and user experience, it does not provide an opt-out mechanism for consumers.. The company recently came under fire from security researchers and privacy advocates not just for the data gathered, but also its lack of transparency in the use of such information. In the US, device makers including Sprint, HTC, Samsung, Nokia and RIM are known to be partners, and network operators AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile have admitted to using carrier IQ.

Removal of Carrier IQ
Carrier IQ Detector does not remove carrier IQ software which is embedded deeply within with the handset’s firmware. It functions purely as a detection device. Complete removal of Carrier IQ requires special access privileges and technical knowledge. Side effects of failed self-modification may include compromised security and the inability to receive future firmware updates. If you’re uncomfortable modifying your device, your best course of action is to contact your mobile carrier regarding their use of Carrier IQ software.

LG G3 D850 AT&T INFECTED RIGHTS VIOLATING PHONE This phone is infected with this unlawful, corporate / government spying software. It is a shame. LGG3 were supposed to be one of the best. Maybe that's why the government colluded with the corporations to SPY on U.S. CITIZENS WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT OR KNOWLEDGE! Guess they presumed a lot of G3's would get in circulation. I will root this device & rid my phone of all of the unlawful, intrusive, Constitutional Rights VIOLATING, spying software! LGG3 BUYERS BEWARE! Screw you AT&T, LG, etc. etc..

Ok I'd like for everyone to try this. Turn off your location and make sure it's disabled everywhere. Then check your phone for IQ. Now turn on location and try again. What did you get?
