good but could be excellent! i really like this app but its missing some key features that would make it awesome:- 1. ability to series record - this would be really cool to have!. 2. view upcoming recordings and option to cancel/delete 3. ability to force xbmc to switch to live tv and then view the selected channel in the app i really hope this is still being developed, as its been quite some time since i have seen any updates.

Doesn't play video well While xbmc plays my channels absolutely fine, they play extremely choppy with a lag on tvheadend. Streams are H264 AAC

Average The user actions required to watch live TV are not obvious. Also the frequent failure to play streams when there is no indication of a problem, but that is partly the fault of tvheadend which is itself a temperamental thing. OK but I'm uninstalling because a myth backbend works better for me.

Ok, but where's transcoding gone? Always loved TVHguide. But the last version I had installed outside of Google Play could transcode. Where's the transcoding stuff gone?
