Twotrack audio recorder free

Twotrack audio recorder free

Twotrack is a simple but powerful two track audio recorder that allows overdubbing and mixing to a stereo master track. It's ideal for musicians who want to record a rhythm track to play over, or it can simply be used for higher quality recordings than the standard voice recorder.

You can record something, then "bounce" (mix) it to the master track, then record something over that, mix it, and keep going until you have all the parts you want.

Use it for multitrack recording and music production on the go or for recording quick ideas in your home studio!

When overdubbing, it's important to use headphones.

Features:

recording in 16 bit 44.1kHz wav file format
single level undo
import mp3 and wav files
export as mp3
free version is fully functional - just has ads as well
records in the background as a service, so you can play to a metronome or loop, or check your mail

Great app once you adjust latency It takes a lot of trial and error to find the right latency adjustment but, once you do, the app works great. Mine is 140 ms. I use the app to play lead guitar over the rhythm tracks that I record. Love the simple no bs interface too. Very user friendly and easy to share your creations.

It lags 50% of the time I've been recording my own music for a while, the most important rule is always keeping tempo. This app has problems with syncing both tracks, together, on time. Sometimes it does work though but it's unreliable.
