Twotrack audio recorder free

Twotrack audio recorder free

Twotrack is a simple but powerful two track audio recorder that allows overdubbing and mixing to a stereo master track. It's ideal for musicians who want to record a rhythm track to play over, or it can simply be used for higher quality recordings than the standard voice recorder.

You can record something, then "bounce" (mix) it to the master track, then record something over that, mix it, and keep going until you have all the parts you want.

Use it for multitrack recording and music production on the go or for recording quick ideas in your home studio!

When overdubbing, it's important to use headphones.

Features:

recording in 16 bit 44.1kHz wav file format
single level undo
import mp3 and wav files
free version is fully functional - just has ads as well
records in the background as a service, so you can play to a metronome or loop, or check your mail

Buzzes on playback Can't figure why some songs buzz and others don't. Importing mp3 and wave files is frustrating bc I don't know which files will or won't transfer.

Nice app Great way to work out Leads and improvise different scales & modes without firing up your entire studio. Good for harmony practice too! Record a major scale, and harmonize in 2nds - 7ths. For lessons, I'm on fiverr under Greg Clagett. I teach advanced so if you haven't been playing 5 - 10 years, it may be too advanced. I do.try to put up intermediate (finger exercises, & drills) lessons once a month.
