A useful app when using the Vancouver SkyTrain system Overall, the “Vancouver SkyTrain” app performs well and provides useful information. Users can choose which of the SkyTrain lines they want for their boarding and destination stations, and the app then shows details about their journey. It is a light and easy to run application capable of functioning without a working internet connection on any modern Android device. It runs smoothly, takes up little storage space, and never crashed during the use of it. In terms of value, it is definitely worth a download if you would like assistance on using the SkyTrain from the comfort of your device. As to be expected from almost any free application, there are advertisements to generate revenue. On the other hand, there are a few areas that require updating or improvement. The most significant issue is that it currently (January 27th, 2015) doesn’t show the correct fares. The app feels somewhat unintuitive and would benefit from an improved user interface; rather than the existing black screen, basic drop down menus, and button selections. It also lacks many features that could greatly improve its functionality and user experience.

Group 1(CSIS 3175 - 001) No doubt that this app is good as it offers with some of the good features like depicting the estimated travel time, showing all the three categories of skytrain lines. Moreover, it can be used offline as well. Despite of its good features it is still not a perfect trip planner because it lack some important features like displaying schedule, correct fares and map. New users may find difficult to use this app as the user need to have the informartion about the local trains and their routes. To make this app more useful it should be updated frequently. This app should have map, updated fares and accurate schedule of skytrains.

Vancouver Skytrain App Review This app is a decent solution for providing basic information and route planning for the three main skytrain lines in Vancouver. The information is relayed quickly; however figuring out a route can become a chore if you don't know which skytrain line your embarking station or destination is on. A map would help resolve any issues with this. A graphical user interface could be color coded to show the different routes, and simplify the route planning procedure.

Crippled app It deliver what it promises, but it promises little. You get stations and fares, no schedules or timetables. I will uninstall
