Vice64 COMMODORE 64 Emu is GREAT! VERY Customizable....brings me back to BASIC, and it has the option for Netplay too!

Excellent options but interface needs changing Firstly the amount of options as well as this running smoothly and the compatibility with all c64 extension types out this above the others but there are some problems. I'd say the interface needs a revamp, especially configuring joysticks and ports for beginners who might find it tricky. Also some games need F2, F4, F6 or F8 to work and this isn't possible at the moment. Please just tweak the interface and honestly you'll have the best c64 emulator for Android permanently

Yuk Thought I'd give it another go. I'm using Galaxy S5 and managed to load a game but the joystick controls don't work at all. Useless

Not easy to setup, but works great. Little hard to get it setup, there needs to he a Readme link or something. Start by hitting the back key on your phone to bring up the device menu wile in the app. Hit down to go to Machine Settings then hit right. Go down to select Joystick Settings then hit right. Go to Joystick Device in Port 1&2, select Keyset 1. Hit left to go back, then down to Define Keysets. Follow prompts to set keyset 1 to default UI. Can find some useful videos on YouTube about vice on pc, that helped me setting it up.

Terrible interface. Sure, I could look up how to format Android directory structures, download file manager to find out where my download folder is, then type the directory and file name to load that ROM I downloaded. But why should I? It's 2015, file browsers exist!
