ViewFinder

ViewFinder

Turn your Android device into a digital viewfinder. This application shows the framing lines of any camera format and lens combinations. This was developed with large format photography in mind, where moving the camera around to find the right framing is laborious. With this application, one can now quickly find the best camera position and lens combination for the desired picture.

You can define any frame you want by simply entering the image capturing size and lens focal length. You build your own database of camera and lens.

Picture can be taken as seen from the selected frame and GPS coordinate can also be added to the exif data.

For lens wider than what the Android camera can support, padding is used to fill the gap.

If you are getting an "Invalid Camera Parameters" message, it means that the firmware of the camera is not providing valid metric for focal length and field of view. You can now manually enter those parameters through the application settings.

Waste of money. I confirm. A complete waste of money.

Fine! Really useful if you prefer using prime lenses, and want a quick way of choosing which one to put on your SLR or system camera! Can adjust for all sensor sizes ...

Dreadful. As I have to give a star it'll get one. It downloaded successfully but thats about it. Doesn't render, crashes and has terrible userface. Uninstalled. Waste of money.
