Mobile Rescue

Keep your mobile phone safe and sound

Mobile Rescue is part of your mobile insurance with Virgin Media. As soon as you activate it on your phone, you're covered against loss or theft.

With Mobile Rescue, you can...

• Back up your mobile address book and transfer your contacts to a new or replacement phone

• Lock your phone from your computer if it's missing or stolen. Once it's locked, it can't be used without you unlocking it, even if the SIM is changed.

• Track down your lost phone by setting off an alarm and checking where it is on a map.

• If your phone's lost or stolen, first lock it with Mobile Rescue and then call Virgin Media and they'll block the SIM card for you. That way, no one can put your SIM in another phone and use it to make calls.

Nightmare app Try resetting the pin to unlock the phone the app on the phone tells you visit the rescue website but low and behold nothing about resetting the pin only how to change the password call customer services and they tell you to go online oh, there is a thing online where something gets sent to the phone that supposed to unlock it but because the phone is locked there is no way to access any data. The crazy thing about this situation is that I didn't report the stupid phone as lost or stolen, suppose the simple solution is to make sure I don't forget or lose my pin even after 19 months wonder if other networks have similar problems.

donna tomkins i don't like this app... i have been trying for the last hour and a half trying to get through to mobile rescue about my phone. their lines are down. How can they run a business like this? Its ridiculous that you pay your fee and when you need their help you cannot even get through.. All i need is my 4 digit pin to get back into my phone.... Not happy at all
