So almost nearly perfect... Nexus4 KitKat 4.4.4. Rooted. Working from UltraVNC viewer. Only downside is you are stuck clicking the virtual keyboard. Typing on the real PC keyboard doesn't appear until you left click, and it's unreliable, doesn't always appear, and unless you type one letter, and one click, you are typing blind.

Freezes phone, causes problems with SuperSU My phone locked up after turning the server on and granting it root. After a hard reset, SuperSU 2.01 starts showing constant toasts slowing my phone down even though I turned off toasts. The problem persisted until I removed this app from SuperSU. CM 10.2.1 jfltecan

Works OK for viewing, weird keyboard behavior... I was using for hardware in-the-loop android development. Viewing worked OK (a little laggy, but OK) at 256 colors. Increasing the color depth to 32 bit caused display issues. On a Nexus 7 running 4.4.4, the key presses in VNC would not transfer properly to the device. Also, when the server was enabled the virtual keyboard would no longer popup, so key input with both methods was terminal when the VNC server was running. This signature corrected itself once the server was disabled. Rated 3 because it half worked. Hopefully more support for keyboard input comes soon. I'd be interested.
