Wake up World

Wake up World

G-dcast’s first children’s book is here and it’s going to blow you away: literally!

Celebrate Rosh Hashana, the Jewish new year, by blowing the shofar to wake up toys, animals and parents in this interactive story full of surprises. Children and parents will delight in actually blowing into their devices to sound the shofar and bring the story to life in colorful animations created by best-selling illustrator Laura Huliska-Beith with narration by Randi Zuckerberg and a rollicking soundtrack.

· Pick a boy or a girl character to star in the story
· Use the mic on your device to really blow the shofar in the story
· Read it (or have it read to you) in English or Hebrew.
· Fun for the holidays, or all year round!

In the Jewish tradition, shofars are sounded throughout the High Holiday services to call people to a spiritual reawakening, to re-examine their lives, to let go of yesterday and to bring in the new year. In Wake up World children (and their grown ups!) learn about the spiritual meaning of the shofar by waking up friends with a mic-enabled virtual shofar.

Not Just for Jewish Families My daughter and I are Christian, but we really enjoyed reading and listening to this book together! Blowing into the trumpet is a lot of fun, the music accompaniment is a hoot, and we get to learn about a neat celebration observed by our Jewish friends. Thanks, developers!

Stuck on 2nd shofar Can't get past the 2nd blowing of the shofar on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.0. Looks like a cute story but I can't finish it.
