Wavesink DAB/FM Trial

Wavesink DAB/FM Trial

Turn your phone or tablet into a DAB and FM-Stereo RDS receiver. On USB-OTG compatible phones, simply connect a cheap USB dongle and listen to VHF radio in HiFi quality. Note that the trial version has a runtime limitation and does not support DAB+ but only DAB and FM/RDS.
If you like Wavesink Trial, try out the full-featured Wavesink Plus version with DAB+/DRM+ support:

Requirements
1. USB dongle with RTL2832U like LogiLink VG0018 with Fitipower FC0013 Tuner. (USB dongles with R820T tuner do NOT work well on some devices, due to an increased current consumption and reduced VHF selectivity compared to FC0013 tuners.)
2. USB OTG cable
3. RTL2832U app by Martin Marinov (see: http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=marto.rtl_tcp_andro)

Buggy Really hate having to cancel the USB connect dialog box every time I restart my phone. Makes me really hesitant to purchase app, since there's no way to avoid this.

OK, so, it's a cheap easy way to add DAB to an android in car unit, such as Eonon but I would like a quit button on the main tuner screen where you scroll left or right to select your station, there is a button to instantly record audio but quitting the app requires several button presses which is a bit dodgy when the car is moving. Other than that it works fine provided the signal is strong enough. For the money, its a no brainer if you want DAB but I would like to see the devs listen and implement an easier way to quit the app...

good but DAB decoding has random chirps on DAB but only for Trial version Good software but let down by inferferance that makes DAB listening a bit of a chore. I suspect the trial version has an older version of code that doesn't work so well decoding DAB broadcasts. The paid version does not suffer this issue at all so it works better. The paid version at £8 is a little on the expensive side but does work very well. Both the Paid and free version look a little dated in the gui screen but actually provides a lot of useful information like RDS info on FM, DAB info (current song etc), FM frequency, Signal strength, signal to noise ratio. Overall the Trial version gets a rating of 3 stars due to intermittent chirps on DAB. The full version gets 5 stars as it's rock solid stable.

Not ready for prime time... Nice start, but I won't fork out money for the paid version until it becomes fleshed-out with more features. As it stands, SDR Touch works much better on my HP Slate 7 Extreme, so I bought their unlock key.
