Weather Personal Widget

This widget displays the information from a personal weather station.
This is NOT an application. You need to add it to your home screen after install.

To use it, your need a personal weather station and a program like Weather Display on a PC to generate the file clientraw.txt and upload it to a web server.

The widget supports 2 types of file: clientraw.txt and yowindow.xml.

Click the temperature in the upper left corner to configure, click anywhere else to update the display.

Configurable:
-Temperature units (Celsius or Fahrenheit)
-Wind speed units (kts, m/s, km/h, mph)
-Barometer(hPa, in/hg)
-Rain (mm, in)
-Background/Text color and transparency
-Display of an icon for the forecast/current conditions
-Draw a frame around the widget
-Auto-update when the device is unlocked
-Periodic update
-URL of the file to download

The URL must me a full internet address like http://www.server.com/clientraw.txt

You can activate a periodic update. It will download only when the screen is ON.
You can configure alternate URL and period to use when the phone is connected to a WIFI network.

The small chart behind the temperature is the temperature in the last hour. The limits of the graphic are the hi/lo temperature of the day.

Needs dew point and lock screen display Two vital items missed. Please add for higher rating. Better icons and placement would help as well.

Addition of 2 digit rain Was sorely missing as we don't get a lot if rain here, even hundredths of an inch is rain here.

Thanks for adding 100ths for rain! Does what it says. Would like to be able to round values to number of decimals I specify. For example, I don't need a decimal for the temperature, but others may like it. How about an option for that?

Great widget It uses your own (or nearby) weather station's data to show on your phone. The only problem I have- the text size is a bit too small to read without glasses. Otherwise it is perfect.
