WebCheck

WebCheck

WebCheck

-> Periodically checks if a website contains a certain keyword.

-> As soon as the keyword is found a notification alarm is shown in the status bar.

-> SMS notification possible

-> You can configure wether you want the phone to vibrate or to play a notification sound.

-> Since the configurable "exclusion mode" is active, an alarm is given if the keyword is NOT found.

The WebCheck Service is running in the background, although the application itself is closed.

As the internal Android AlarmManager is used, the Service is also working when the phone is in stand-by mode. Further it is configurable to start the WebCheck Service automatically after booting.

WebCheck can be used to monitor a website as well as analyzing its content by any keyword. A logging function (configurable) which directly saves on the sd card provides you a history of checks.

Good, could be better. I've noticed that when switching between cellular data and Wi-Fi I get website outrage alerts briefly while it switches networks. Same thing happens sometimes while driving distances. If you had an option to only use cellular data or programmed in some sort of tolerance for network changes that would be helpful I think. Tried to email developer, but the email address given in the app is invalid.

Awesome Just what I was looking for. Would love if it could do more than one website. Also it would be great if it was not confused by local connection issues.

Excellent Great app, but I wish that it could monitor multiple webpages.
