This is a demo app made for my "Embracing Fragmentation" talk, showing how to use resources to create an app that runs on a multitude of devices.
The app shows the actual screen size of your device in both pixels and device independent pixels (dips). It also shows the size of the view, the type of screen (small, normal, large, xlarge) and the screen dpi class (ldpi, mdpi, hdpi, xhdpi).
The code for this app is open source and available from the website link.
Showing the device model and the device class based on swXXdp classifiers for Android 3.x and up.
Removed the touchscreen requirement so that the app should also work on Google TV.
Now correctly showing xxhdpi devices.
