It works in Wi-Fi setups where the SSIDs for 2.4 and 5 are different. If the SSID is different for the 2.4 and 5 GHz networks like I have at home it correctly switches to the 5 GHz network even if the signal level is lower. If the SSID for the 2.4 and 5 GHz networks is the same, like it is at my work, then I suspect the software doesn't function as intended as I think it's trying to switch to the SSID with the 5 GHz network but if both SSIDs are the same the software maybe can't handle this. I think the solution would be that it switches based on the AP's physical or MAC address which would solve the issue in the many business environments where all APs have the same SSID for both 2.4 and 5 GHz. Might take a little more code to have a MAC address table lookup incorporated, but I think this would make the tool a real winner.

Won't work on a Verizon SGS4 Wish it worked. I let it sit for a while to see if it would switch, no luck. Signal was off the charts for the test.

Would be great... If it worked. App makes my SGN3 lose all wifi connection, reverting to 3G.
