Wifi Timer

When installed, each time you turn your wifi off, you will be asked how long you would like before restoring it. After that amount of time has passed, your wifi will be automatically turned back on.

On Android 2.3.3 on my Nexus One, I started to have less battery time. I did this little app to save my battery while I'm at work and don't have a wifi access point. I hope this application can be useful for you too!

Simple and effective Does what it says, no muss no fuss. Set the time you want wifi to turn back on and it does. Perfect.

Perfect, and doesn't need permissions Does exactly what I want. WiFi is spotty at work so I turn it off, but sometimes forget to turn it back on and end up using too much data. This makes it idiot proof, AND the only permission it needs is the obvious WiFi status. Bravo.

Didn't work The application did not prompt me for when to turn wifi back on at all. Doesn't work. Don't bother.

Does exactly what I wanted This app does exactly what I was looking for. I have a commute where I don't want my phone connecting to the train's wifi, but I need to have the wifi on after that while home or work. I've eaten up huge amounts of data because I forgot to turn my wifi back on and watched netflix at home.

Best in class This is such a great idea. I've always needed a way to turn off Wi-Fi temporarily since Google _refuses_ to allow disabling of Wi-Fi without completely deleting the connection info related to a network; they just mock me. When a signal gets too low I want to turn off Wi-Fi just until the signal gets better, and there's usually no way to do it without turning off Wi-Fi manually, but then I forget to turn it back on because I'm a human. This app solves the problem and works perfectly. Thanks Laurent!
