This app will allow you to track your outdoor activities on a map, take photos along the route and upload all of it directly to Wikiloc right from your Android. You can choose between running, hiking, cycling, mountain biking, kayaking and up to the 45 different outdoor activities available. And your friends will know about your activity instantly through the Wikiloc-Facebook connection.

From version 1.0.6 onwards you can open GPS files stored in your phone in GPX and KML formats and follow the route showing the track overlaid on the map. Just tap the file from the file explorer and it will show up an option to open it with wikiloc. You can also follow your own trails already saved on your wikiloc app.

Great but... It is excellent. But offline map support is a must have function. If you are out of cell coverage, it has a very limited function. Please hear my voice.

Prepare to pay The related website is quite good (not the best user experience but it is popular so it has lots of routes), but for what this app offers a would gladly pay a one time fee but not a subscription, no way

Good but... Could do with so more work on meta data as it is hard to find good walks amongst the increasing amount of rubbish uploaded. Also some more flexible options when following a trail. Otherwise a great concept and very useful to us as full time travellers.
