Welcome to the Wikipedia Beta for Android! We’re excited to offer a major update to the Wikipedia Android app for beta testing before our full market release.

What’s new in this app:

* A major design update (we went native!)
* Editing – help improve Wikipedia articles from your phone!
* Everything is faster, whether you’re searching, browsing, or settling a bar bet
* Table of contents to help you navigate long article and get to the information you need
* Wikipedia Zero support – data charges waived for participating mobile operators (Wikipedia as always is of course freely licensed)

Additional features:

* Search any language Wikipedia
* Bookmark pages
* Random article
* Recent browsing history

You can install Wikipedia Beta alongside your current version of Wikipedia for Android, so you can test our new features before they go live for all Wikipedia for Android users. Your feedback will help us fix bugs and decide what features to focus on next.

Recent changes:
Dark theme (night mode)
Adjust font size based on system settings and make adjustable in app
Display abusefilter warnings and errors
Show references in a pane at the bottom of the screen (without scrolling)
Add search to Saved Pages screen
Order saved pages alphabetically, instead of by date
Add graphics and explanations for History and Saved Pages
Don't show red links
Add onboarding screen
Hide edit pencils for file pages
Improved appearance on 2.3 devices
Fix multiple crashes

Only need black/holo theme to be perfect Add black/holo/inverse theme. White backround eats up my battery :(

Very Good. Thanks for the last update it fixed everything I didn't like. Black theme and custom text size! :-)

Ok The app is ok for what I needed to look up but other than that not much use for it. I found it to be very plain and not much content for my personal use. It worked great for my phone.
