Woofer Box Calculator


This app will help you design enclosure (box) for your car audio speaker (sub woofer). It was developed by 2012 and 2013 european champion in dB Drag Racing and was designed to be easy and transparent.


It is better than other box calculation software because it also considers approximate cabin gain, power compression, port compression and other non-linearity. Because of that, it can also predict final SPL in your car.


It is more useful because it knows how to handle total box volume in addition to net box volume. It can also calculate vented (ported) enclosures in the opposite way (e.g. it can calculate vent size or total box size for desired vent).


It can even calculate optimal box for your car and equipment, for burping or for music, depending on priority (SPL to SQ).


Projects can easily be saved and loaded. Boxes, Drivers and Vehicles can also be saved and loaded separately. Units an constraints can be changed under settings.

Ray Easy and very useful.makes it so much easier to build a proper box for a sub that needs the appropriate box specs.

A little vague I have a few questions regarding different parameters. On the driver page, I assume ohms is the resistance of each speaker as a whole? (Kicker CVR 124, for example, is a DVC 4 ohm sub. Would I put 4 ohms, or 8 for having the voice coils wired in series?)

Bl won't stay the same I like it but my only problem is my bl wont stay were I put it so it doesn't give me what I want to know. Is this a bug? Thanks I have dual 2 ohm . Sa 15 sundowns. Very helpfull!
