Worthy of the Prize (WOTP)
Each devotional card contains one biblical
character trait to focus on, as well as a related
Bible verse with commentary, a motivational
thought, and a self-analysis question about your
character. You can read one devotional a day for
a month or one devotional a week for 31 weeks. You can start again from the beginning when you complete the set to sharpen your character. Choose the method that works best for you. (Coaches, study these cards with your team to instill leadership and character development.Parents,do them with your children.) The read-to-me option allows you to plug-in headphones and listen to the devotionals while you workout.
NOTE: This requires Text-To-Speech to be installed for read-to-me to work.
These cards were written by Erin Vick Franklin, former collegiate athlete and coach, award-winning poet and author. She is a graduate of Southwestern Seminary with a Masters in Christian Education.
Here is a message from Erin:
God has given me this vision to enable people to stay spiritually fit as well as physically fit. As a young mother I was frustrated not being able to fit it all in, realizing that there are only so many hours in a day. Knowing that other people must feel the same way, I created Fit Cards as a multi-tasking solution. I pray that this new devotional system will bless you and the people in your life, as you strive to strengthen your relationship with God and grow in Christ!
Disclaimer: The Fit Cards are not made to be used during strength-training, aerobics or any kind of intense exercise. They are designed to use only while warming up, stretching, walking, jogging or cooling down. Always be aware of your surroundings, including traffic, while using the Fit Cards, in order to prevent accidents and injury.
