Zoom

Unique on any computer: design your own homescreen widgets to do whatever you like!

Position, size and overlay elements in the drag-and-drop editor. Two views: full-zoom for easier editing, actual-size for previewing.

* button: standard Android button
* image: an app icon, Ipack icon, photo from SD or auto-updated website image
* doodle: create your own mini-masterpieces for use in your widgets
* text: specified directly, or auto-updated website text/HTML document
* oval, rectangle: shapes with cool shading to act as backdrops for other elements.

User reviews of Zoom
Wait a minute... I PAID for Zoom, and now it's free? This ticks me off... especially considering that it's never been easy to use and figure out... though, once that happens, it is, indeed, an interesting, useful and excellent app. But it's wrong to make an app free after it's been charged for. It's just wrong. Still, this app is very good... no argument here on that. But now I want my money back! (Not really... I want to support the dev... I'm just going overboard to make a point.) I have a sneaking suspicion that Zoom is now free because the "Tasker App Factory," once out of beta, is going to kinda' take over. I know that it sure interests me. That App Factory may, in fact, be what causes me to use Tasker more, and AutomateIt less. We'll see.

I have this... Still haven't found a good use for it just yet. I assume it could be usefull, once you figure out how.

Lollipop Since upgrading my s5 to lollipop, the widgets sometimes just disappear. Love the app prior to upgrading and this problem arising. Really allows great customization, especially with Tasker combination.

Android Wear / Watchmaker integration would be amazing! I really like the flexibility of the UI components I can create with this and the amazing Tasker integration really allows me to do useful things. However since I have a smartwatch, I tend to check my phone less and those widgets have become less useful. There's an app called watchmaker that allows you to create your own watch faces but not graphical components itself except for strings and conditional images. It would be amazing if I could even just see the widgets from this app on my watch.

Simple design but does its job well. I like Zooper more but this one is far more integrated with Tasker asks deserves the five stars.

Dead, but still functional Not great looking editing UI, a few bugs, but still works better than I thought. (Just pointing this out- if you boot in safe mode, all widgets turn transparent)
