A Resolução nº 190 do CONTRAN regulamenta estes equipamentos, e todos aqueles que são capazes de “gerar imagens para fins de entretenimento”. Leiam parte da Resolução:

“Art. 1º Fica proibido a instalação em veículo automotor de equipamento capaz de gerar imagens para fins de entretenimento, salvo se:

I - Instalado na parte dianteira, possuir mecanismo automático que o torne inoperante ou o comute para função de informação de auxílio à orientação do condutor, independente da vontade do condutor e/ou dos passageiros, quando o veículo estiver em movimento.

II - Instalado de forma que somente os passageiros ocupantes dos bancos traseiros possam visualizar as imagens.”
