NOTE: Only Hong Kong database is available at the moment. Database for other countries will be available later.

*** 2013/5/23: For new version of MIUI (Known on 3.4.26+), you must enable StudioKUMA Call Filter in Permission Manager ***

*** For most LG phones, only legacy muting is supported ***

*** 2012/5/2: For users with Android 4.0.3+, if blocking has no effect, make sure any automatic process killers have this program placed in whitelist or exception ***

This application does not support MIUI ROM. On LG P970, only legacy mute function can be used.

*** For those who don't read Changelog: If the problem crashes after upgrading from 2.x, either clear program data or uninstall and install the software again ***

This program is a Call Filter application for use in Hong Kong only, due to its nature of using a Hong Kong call filter list.

From v1.01, English interface is also available.

This broadband performance test system is commissioned by the Office of the Communications Authority (通訊事務管理局辦公室 / 通讯事务管理局办公室), formerly the Office of the Telecommunications Authority (電訊管理局 / 电讯管理局), and designed, established, operated and supported by Hong Kong Internet eXchange. The data usage for the use of this system varies with the speed of mobile broadband connection under test. For tests on 4G connections, the data usage of a test can be up to 100 MBytes. Users are advised to keep track of their data usage from time to time in order to avoid any unnecessary mobile bill charges.

“OctoCheck” is an official application developed by Octopus Cards Limited. It is a free smartphone application developed for NFC (Near Field Communication) enabled mobile devices. This application allows you to check the following information via the Internet on your Octopus:
• Octopus remaining value;
• Date, time, merchant type and amount of the latest Octopus transaction records;
• Octopus auto-reload amount (applicable to subscribers of the Octopus Automatic Add Value Service (AAVS));
• Octopus Reward$ balance (applicable to holders of Octopus Rewards membership Octopus);
• Other information, e.g. enquiry date, time and last reload date either by AAVS or cash.

To use the applications, simply:
1. Turn on the NFC function and Internet connection of your mobile device.
2. Register the Octopus you wish to enquire.
3. Place your mobile device on top of a registered Octopus.
4. Hold steadily until the enquiry result shows.
5. If you wish to check the transaction record of another registered Octopus, please press the ‘back’ button on your mobile, or wait for 30 seconds upon the results fade out automatically.

Note:
• Each mobile can register up to 20 Octopus via the application.
• This application is only applicable to Octopus with a 9-digit Octopus number (including eight digits plus one single digit inside the bracket).
• Please place your mobile on top of the Octopus and hold steadily until the enquiry completes.
• Please place only one Octopus at a time during the enquiry. Do not place your mobile on two cards together simultaneously.
• The design of the NFC antenna and transmission power of each smart phone vary. If your Octopus cannot be read properly, please try placing your Octopus about 1cm away from your phone.
