Een woordzoeker is een puzzel of woordspel, waarbij een bepaald aantal woorden gevonden moeten worden in een blok gevuld met letters. Deze woorden kunnen zowel van links naar rechts als van rechts naar links geschreven zijn, alsmede zowel horizontaal als verticaal als diagonaal. Dezelfde letters kunnen meerdere keren gebruikt worden.

Woordzoekers staan net als kruiswoordpuzzels vaak in kranten en tijdschriften. Ook worden ze soms gebruikt als lesmateriaal bij het leren van spelling.

De woordzoeker is bedacht en voor het eerst gepubliceerd door Norman E. Gibat in the Selenby Digest op 1 maart 1968. In Nederland was het M. Sanders die voor het eerst de woordzoeker introduceerde in zijn Puzzelboeken.

Een strategie voor het oplossen van een woordzoeker is om de beginletter van het woord te zoeken, en vanaf die letter in elke mogelijke richting te kijken of het woord gevormd wordt. Een andere strategie is zoeken naar letters uit een woord die niet vaak voorkomen, en dus maar weinig in het letterblok staan. Voorbeelden hiervan zijn de Y, X en Q.

Guess the words is a free, fun and relaxing puzzle game. What's the word we're looking for? Find as many words as possible, try to set the highest highscore and collect all the 4 Medals.

★ HOW TO PLAY:
The objective of the game is to guess as many five-letter words as you can. Each time you have five guesses to find the word we are looking for. At each try colors will light up indication if the word is correct or which letters of the word are correct. There are 3 colors. Use the colors as clues for finding the word:

- Green: If a letter lights up the color green it means that this letter is correct.
- Orange: Will means that the letter is correct, but it is currently in the wrong position.
