Buienradar has launched a complete new version of her app. After talks and tests with users we have come to a new and modern interface to support more functionality, easier and faster to use as a daily life tool. You can swipe easily through the weather information to the information of your needs. You can personalize your startscreens with your most needed weather information and preferred cities.

Of course the rainradar has a central focus of the app, with 2 hours rainforecast, options to zoomin on your gps location or location of your choice and a detailed rainforecast on streetlevel.

New in the app are detailed local weather predictions, weather video's, social features and the possibility to upload your weather pictures.
The app is optimized as far as possible to the performance of your phone. You can change the quality of the maps and use preloading of animation to improve speed. Depending on your phone and network this however can really change the performance of the app and data traffic. This version is a start of more to come. Already we are working on future update with extended functionality.

An update of the tablet version is planned for later in the year.

In the new app we ask for the following permissions:

Your location:
- to be able to give the most exact rain prediction availible (accurate by 1kmxkm)

Telephone:
With this we read the ID of your phone for statistics, alerts and ads.

Networkcommunications:
To see if you are on wifi/3G to see if we can send data and optimize performance

Systemhelp
With this we prevent that the phone goes to sleep while using the app

Storage
We store used mapps for faster usage and less datatraffic

Your accounts
When uploading your picture we read your emailadres to upload it to Buienradar

- Workaround for existing gps bug in Android. Some phones have problems finding their locations. This is also the reason some phones give errors when choosing specific cities in the app. Buienradar made a workaround around the Android bug.

Buienalarm

Geen zin om zelf steeds de buienradar te checken? Buienalarm waarschuwt je voor naderende buien, gebaseerd op jouw eigen locatie of ingestelde locaties! Zo kun je bijvoorbeeld je was zorgeloos buiten laten hangen of op tijd schuilen in een tent op een festival voordat er geen plek meer is.

Buienalarm is verkozen tot de Nederlandse Android-app van 2011 door Androidworld.nl!

Versie 2.0 is een volledig vernieuwde versie van Buienalarm, met veranderingen zoals de volgende:
- Een volledig interactieve radarkaart waarmee je kunt inzoomen en bliksemsnel het verloop van de bewolking voor de komende twee uur kunt bekijken.
- Extra locaties instellen (maximaal 3).

Daarnaast vind je nu op www.buienalarm.nl nu ook een versie van Buienalarm voor je browser met dezelfde bekende grafiek!

Werkt in Nederland, België, Luxemburg en delen van Duitsland.

Indien er problemen zijn met de app, neem dan contact op via e-mail! Problemen die in de Play Store gemeld worden, worden niet opgelost.

(De app heeft toestemming nodig voor een ingesteld Google-account om neerslagwaarschuwingen te kunnen sturen. De toegang die Buienalarm krijgt kan alléén voor deze waarschuwingen gebruikt worden.)

Stay up to date with the current weather conditions in the Netherlands - and in the world via the Weather station widget. Reliable data live from the dutch national weather service KNMI.

Het Weer in Nederland now contains 31 maps, forecasts and other items!

- Forecasts for today, this evening and tomorrow
- Satellite images (visible light + infra red)
- Detailed 5 day + text-forecast
- Maps showing the current temperatures, wind speed (m/s and bft) and visibility
- UV prediction for today and tomorrow
- Precipitation map
- Animated weather map (several days in advance)
- Weather alarm + Coastal alarm
- Three precipitation radarviews
- Rotate your device to zoom in
- Three app widgets bring live weather information to your home screen, including weather station widget!

Data is downloaded from the Dutch national meteorological institute KNMI. Due to the nature of this source, some content (specifically the text forecast) is written in Dutch.

Meest complete android weer app voor Nederland.
Geeft een uitgebreid beeld van het weer in Nederland door het tonen van diverse actuele en verwachtings kaarten.
Daarnaast toont de app ook nog diverse andere interessante kaarten van Nederland.

App neemt zeer weinig ruimte in!

Zeer eenvoudige bediening, doordat alle kaarten met 1 klik op het juiste tab-blad, op te roepen zijn. Geen ingewikkelde configuratie opties.

Alle weerinformatie in deze app is publiekelijk beschikbaar op het internet.

Alle kaarten zijn zoombaar en de volgorde van de kaarten is ook volledig configureerbaar. Als u schermen wilt weglaten is dat ook mogelijk. Gebruik menu toets om dit te doen.

In this app you’ll find tools for professionals like you. The central cockpit is your gate to access various handy tools that are useful at your job.

Tool 1: Work & Weather (Frost Alert)

Do you work in the sector Construction? Than this app is indispensable for you. This app is the new way for trade union CNV to communicate frost alerts and working related weather information. You’ll find the frost alerts in the tool Work & Weather.

By default an area is allocated based on your GPS location. You can also choose another working area by selecting weather station, city name or postal code. If by 7am or 10am a chill lower than -6˚C is measured in your working area, then you’ll receive a push message saying the standard has been achieved. Furthermore you can read out the actual chill throughout The Netherlands all year round and read all about work and weather conditions in this tool.

Tool 2: Brain Buddy

Brain Buddy is a handy tool for remembering borrowed or lent tools, your collegues birthdays and other worthwhile memo’s.

Tool 3: On the Road

On the Road provides driving and pausing info for drivers in divers transport categories. In this tool you can also register rides and kilometers.

Tool 4: Holidays Counter

Holidays Counter calculates each day how much free days and hours you are entitled to. You can plan your working hours, holidays and free days with this handy tool.
