Med Gule Sider på Android har du alltid et svar i hånden, når du skal søke etter bedrifter, tjenester, produkter, personer, telefonnumre, adresser osv. Den nye applikasjonen inneholder en bedre søketjeneste med flere søkemuligheter samt nye og forbedrede kart.

Med utgangspunkt i hvor du er, får du rask oversikt over dine søkeresultater, både i listevisning men også i kart, alltid liggende bak listen og lett å hente frem. Du kan sortere både etter avstand, alfabetisk eller omtaler.

Ønsker du veibeskrivelse, med via-punkter eller estimering av avstanden, kan du gjøre det i forlengelse av ditt søk. Du kan dessuten se søkeresultatene på luftfoto, hybridkart og sjøkart, i tillegg til Gule Siders vanlige kart.

Det finnes også automatisk nummeropslag (Caller-ID Lookup) av innkommende og/utgående anrop, samt innkommende SMS, slik du kan se hvem som ringer eller har sendt deg en melding.

Merk: visse SMS applikasjoner forhindrer oss i å gjøre oppslag på SMS avsender. Dette gjelder for blant annet GO SMS Pro.

ARK e-bok er en app optimalisert for behagelig lesing av e-bøkene dine på mobile enheter. Registrer appen med din ARK bruker-ID, og e-bøkene du har kjøpt hos ARK lastes automatisk ned til bokhyllen din. I appen har du tilgang til å kjøpe mange tusen norske og engelske e-bøker.

Vi lagrer ikke informasjon om bruksmønstre i applikasjonen og vi har lagt stor vekt på personvern under utviklingen. All kommunikasjon mellom mobil og server er kryptert med SSL som for eksempel brukes av norske banker for i å ivareta sikker kommunikasjon.

Lesing i appen er enkelt og behagelig for øyet, og du har mange muligheter til å justere skrift og skjerm slik du vil ha det. Automatisk synkronisering gjør at du kan lese boka på nettbrett i sofaen hjemme, og fortsette fra samme side på din iPhone eller Android-telefon eller nettbrett på toget.

Fantastisk, superenkel leseopplevelse på dine Android-enheter – også på din iPad, iPhone, iPod touch:

• Søk etter og kjøp e-bøker til bokhyllen din ved å velge «Butikk» i hovedmenyen nederst i bokhyllen. Velg blant flere hundre tusen norske og engelske e-bøker.
• Åpne ARK e-bok, og e-boken ligger allerede i bokhyllen. Ingen ekstra brukernavn og passord!
• Last opp og les dine egne dokumenter via vedlegg i din epost på iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, eller dine Android-enheter.
• Bruk appen på flere enheter. Automatisk synkronisering av hvor langt du er kommet i boken gjør at du kan velge å lese på nettbrett eller telefon, alt etter hva som passer deg. Du kan gjerne kombinere Apple og Android.
• Norsk og engelsk ordbok er tilgjengelig umiddelbart. Hold fingeren på ordet og du får opp forklaringen. Vi samarbeider med Kunnskapsforlaget, Norges ledende utgiver av ordbøker.
• Tilpass leseopplevelsen ved å velge tekststørrelse, bakgrunnsbelysning, nattmodus, stående eller liggende skjerm.

Point your phone's camera to the sky, and small icons track the locations of various satellites. Those in sunlight are colored yellow to help you look for them on a clear night.
