Ghost Commander File Manager

Ghost Commander is a powerful, dual-panel, customizable, ad-free and donation supported file manager for the Android platform.

Once installed, you can efficiently manage your files, copying and moving them from one panel to another. This method of operating is far more convenient than what is offered by some other file managers, in which you would have to copy/cut items and then navigate to various different folders to paste them - back and forth, again and again.
Open files and folders by simply tapping on the left and select single or multiple items by tapping on the right side, where the size/date info is situated.

Besides the basic file manager functions you would expect, Ghost Commander lets you transfer files both to and from FTP and SFTP servers and Windows network shares (SMB plugin required), plus it can create/extract ZIP archives and view inside them before they're extracted. For advanced users, this file manager also fully supports root (superuser) mode, which is essential to work with critical system files on a rooted phone, change file permission attributes/owners (chmod/chown) and even execute your own shell commands.

OS Monitor

OS Monitor is a tool for monitoring your Android system.

It offers the following information.

- Processes - monitor all processes.
- Connections - display every network connection.
- Misc - monitor battery, processors, network interfaces and file system.
- Messages - search dmesg or logcat in real-time.

Set CPU functions has been added back, if you don't know what you are doing, please don't use this function, otherwise, you could brick your phone!

% if you enter SetCPU function, but frequency or governor is empty, it means your CPU couldn't be online, please reboot your phone and try again.

AnTuTu Benchmark

AnTuTu Benchmark is Android Benchmarking tool.

NOTE: Some manufacturers promote they products for profits by using fake benchmarks. In fact, some users are unable to run official version of AnTuTu Benchmark on their devices for manufacturers have modified their products, thus the cheating behavior will not be discovered. These manufacturers passed the buck to AnTuTu, claimed that it is because of the incompatibility of AnTuTu Benchmark. AnTuTu make a solemn statement here that there is no compatibility problems on AnTuTu Benchmark. If AnTuTu Benchmark can not run on your device, or there is no readable words on the interface of AnTuTu Benchmark, and your device is made by Chinese manufacturer, then you should know this is cheating. (e.g.: Ainol & Ramos)

Why the scores are different for different tests? Mobiles and tablets have entered quad-core age. The whole system becomes more and more complex. Scores difference may caused by varies of factors.

Why device displayed as "unauthenticated"? When we need to confirm the performance of one device, we need corresponding device to do the test. It will displayed as "unauthenticated" if we do not have this device. Please contact your device's manufacturer to modify this into "authenticated."

How does the rankings in AnTuTu Benchmark made? We select the most representative scores of devices, usually the medium scores, and then compared with others. The devices on the rankings are selected according to the popularity in corresponding country/ region, and different classes are needed as well. Because there are quantitative restriction of the rankings, we are unable to make all the devices listed on.

Whether AnTuTu Benchmark is just? AnTuTu does not belong to any manufacturer or chip supplier. We have our own pursue of Android performance. We would not modify our app to make manufacturers get better scores on AnTuTu Benchmark. Besides, we had expose several cheating on AnTuTu Benchmark.

What are the useful of benchmark? AnTuTu believes that a device with poor performance is a real bad device, though good performance devices may have other problems as well. It is possible to be solved in the future if there are apps' issues. However, there is no chance to solve if it is related to the poor performance.

Is AnTuTu Benchmark accurate? It is hard to answer the questions regards to the accuracy. This can only judged by users themselves. The method is quite simple: If a new device's benchmark exceed more than 50% than equal class devices released at the same time, then the result is questionable.

AnTuTu Benchmark can run a full test of a key project, through the "Memory Performance","CPU Integer Performance","CPU Floating point Performance","2D 3D Graphics Performance","SD card reading/writing speed","Database IO" performance testing on the mobile phone Performance of the hardware to make score.

In reaching the overall and individual scores of the hardware, to judge by the scores of the performance of the hardware. Uploading scores and view your device in the world rankings, allowing points to let you know the level of hardware performance equipment.

NOTE: The Phone calls permissions we request only for get phone model and hardware info, then we can identify your device and gave you ranking. We never get your SIM ID or PHONE NUMBER.

This is a powerful tool! Use at own risk!

Nobody is perfect and Android neither.
Apps you have already deleted, sometimes leave data behind.
The system constantly creates logs, crash reports and debug files you don't really need.

Metal Detector

Metal Detector is in the 3rd set of the Smart Tools collection.

This app measures magnetic field values using the magnetic sensor that is built into the phone. The magnetic field level(EMF) in nature is about 49μT(microtesla) or 490mG(milligauss); 1μT = 10mG. If there is any metal in the area, the strength of the magnetic field should increase. Among other uses, it can be helpful in finding electrical wires in walls (like a stud finder) and metal in the ground.

Usage is simple: Open this app on your device, and move it around; The magnetic field values will constantly fluctuate; See the YouTube video for a demonstration. That's it!
The accuracy depends entirely on the sensors in your device. Note that the magnetic sensor is affected by electronic equipment (TVs, PCs, etc.) due to electromagnetic waves. This is not a bug in the app.

If this app does not work properly, it may mean that your phone's sensors are damaged, broken or non-existent. To initialize the sensors, point your phone up towards the sky and move it in a figure 8 pattern.
Sometimes a leather case with a magnetic "snap" can cause unwanted results. Remove the case to increase accuracy.

AndroSensor is the absolute all-in-one diagnostic tool that lets you know virtually everything about your device's status.

AndroSensor supports all the sensors an android device can have and it will tell you which of them are not supported by your hardware.
View in a single screen the data from all device's sensors in real time. Graphical and text output available for each sensor (graphs are not available for proximity, location and battery info).
- location, location provider, accuracy, altitude, speed and GPS NMEA data.
- Google maps to show the above info. Tapping on your location shows your address, postal code and location accuracy (if available)

SMS Backup +

Automatically backup SMS, MMS and call log entries using a separate label in Gmail / Google Calendar. It is also possible to restore SMS and call log entries back to the phone (MMS not supported yet).

Remember to enable IMAP in Gmail.

Please note that auto backup might not work reliably when SMS Backup+ is installed on the SD card. Future version will hopefully fix this, in the meantime please move it back to phone memory if possible.

Smart Measure

Smart Measure is a tool in the 2nd set of the Smart Tools collection (distance, height).

This rangefinder(telemeter) measures the Distance, Height, Width and Area of a target with your phone by trigonometry.

Usage is simple: just stand up and press the shutter. The important point is aiming the camera at the GROUND, NOT the object. (i.e. In order to measure the distance from someone, aim at his shoes.)

If it is inaccurate, please read the instructions in this app or see the checklist diagram in the blog. The sensors on your phone can be changed by OS version, firmware and battery status.
You can calibrate them with the calibrate menu and settings for yourself.
