The classic Risk board game, streamlined for quicker play. Drisk was designed and built specifically for Android phones and tablets. Supports two to six players, any mixture of players and AI. Local pass-and-play and full online multiplayer which ties into Scoreloop player accounts.

Currently comes with 30 maps and the ability to load custom maps from device storage.

Many of the common variations of Risk can be set in the options menu. You can also vary the initial startup settings. Supports game saving and loading. Realistic sound effects.

I needed a quick to play map strategy game for my mobile device. I tried the ones on the market but reinforcing countries, placing armies, and battles took too long. I would wait for ten minute for the AI to finish so I could do my turn again. I wasn’t satisfied so I made my own hybrid version of Risk that I could play entire maps in 2 to 5 minutes and not have to spend most of that time waiting for the AI to move.

About Vengeance: Vengeance is a unique play on the classic board game Risk. Vengeance has been optimized for rapid expanse, reinforcement, and generation of new armies for your empire. Earn bonus armies by holding continents and defeating opponents.

Discover your own strategies to best counter Vengeance’s four AI personalities. Risk your armies, go offensive, or build massive defenses. Play single maps, campaign mode, or compete for the top rank in the 24 hour leader board. To the reports of "Dice rolls are crap". I agree! I am sorry ahead of time for the enevidable terrible loosing streak. I promice there is no reason for me to add frustrating logic to a game I enjoy playing. Vengeance is coded using the java random number generator. If you can't stand loosing a dozen rolls in a row, please turn off the simple dice roll and turn on the loosing streak midigation which stacks the odds attempting to avoid winning or loosing streaks. Eventually, I will be adding a battle log that you can scroll back through to see just how bad or good your random luck has been.

In game, each player is given one army to place one at a time to set up the board. You are given 3 armies to start each turn. You as the human have the advantage and get to go first. Attack winner is determined by random number generator giving 50/50 chance on first attach. To help mitigate loosing or winning over and over, every loss ups the dice roll to give a 10% advantage on the next roll. This stacks up to 3 times in attempt to avoid long streaks. This option can be enable or disabled in the settings. In addition, a 5% defender initial advantage can be enabled or disabled in the settings. Army size also helps during the attack. For every army that you have over the other army, you are given a 2% advantage. This army advantage is also controllable from the settings.
Vengeance is not a Risk clone. I created a game that would be quicker pace than Classic Risk. I wanted a game that could be picked up and played in 5 minutes here or there without dedicating too much time as most devices will be phones. Risk gameplay between strong opponents could take longer than a mobile battery might last.

Finally Ports Of Call the classic trade simulation game from the Amiga time made it onto Android devices. We tried to be as close as possible to the orginal (its really the SAME kernel code), in terms of original grafic and behavior. We added some helpful features, as the new joystick control for navigating in the shipsimulator and for the radar collision system. We also added some keyboard support when a keyboard is not available. Save, Load, Help and New is available using the Android MENU item. We tested the game on different devices, also very small ones. The buttons are sometimes small, but you will get used to them, but therefore we were able to use our original grafics with the typical AMIGA look. We provided an intro and tutorial video.

The App supports 10 different languages which can be selected when starting the game (English, French, Netherland, Norwegian, Italien, Spanish, Finish, Swedish, Daenish, Portugais and German). Any suggestions are welcome please write us.

Some hints on comments and the EXIT function of the program. Please use the HOME button to exit the application. We didnt provide an extra EXIT button to terminate the program, as the Android System recommends not to terminate the program ourself instead let do the Android System the termination if necessary. This is to have a full compatible system and keep the OS in a stable condition. We prefere a stable system left to the user instead of doing some hacks on this -- if you really need to kill the App, use the END program function of the Android Application manager, so you dont need to reboot the Phone.

Please also write an email if you have error messages or problems.

We want to help quickly, but you need to write an email to us with details. The comment section is a bad place as we cannot reply or ask questions on the problem. We really want to help.

Your device was delivered with the OS Android 2.1. This version of the OS contains some small bugs which among others also affect the ChessBase Online App.

Solution:
- Upgrade the OS to version 2.2 or 2.3
- Delete the file „greatgames.pgn“ from the folder „ChessBase“ on your smart card. The ChessBase App will automatically create the file at program start again.
