Please note that GPS performance and accuracy is determined by your device's hardware, and not by this App. If you experience bad accuracy or many false Alarms, you should try to move the device to another place, e.g. on deck

IF YOU ARE ANCHORING AT E.G. 30 FT, USE AT LEAST 90 FT CHAIN, AND SET DRIFT LIMIT TO AT LEAST 130 FT

My Anchor Watch makes sure that you are alerted if the anchor fails to hold and starts dragging

When you are lying in your bunk at night, you can easily use My Anchor Watch to check that the boat is still where you expect it to be

The battery is conserved by having the app running in the background, and by letting the user optionally configure a slow (selectable) GPS Update Rate

After the Anchor has been set, you can close the User Interface screen, letting My Anchor Watch continue running in the background, saving power. After a while you will learn to interpret the various warning sounds, such as the GPS Status Warning signal

When your boat exceeds the Drift Limit (also called Scope) or enters an Alarm Sector - set by you, an Alarm is activated

Access to the Internet or a Telephone Network is not required

This is Danmark apps market that will make discovering of Danish applications super fun and easy.

You can browse apps by group, search/filter groups, read description and other info about them and install them through the Android Market.

You can choose betwen 5 color schemas (skins).

GPS Satellite Widget

This simple 1x1 homescreen widget will show the number of visible GPS satellites and the mean signal strength. Now you will be able to predict whether you are likely to get a location fix. Depending upon the number of satellites and signal strength you can take the decision to move around to a more open area. Remember that it takes at least 3 to 4 satellites before you can receive location fix.

Operation:- Tap the widget to start it. It will run for the duration you set in the app and stop automatically. This is a battery saving measure. If you want to stop before it auto stops just tap it again.

IMPORTANT.
1.The app has been totally reworked upon to get a minimal design and it is now a pure Android >= 4.0 application. The bigger widget and other graphics has been removed since they are not suiting the minimal design.
2. After installation if you cant see the widget in the list of widgets just change the orientation of the device while the list of widgets is opened. This will refresh the widgets list.

Note:-
Permissions. The app requires internet permissions for showing the Google ads and Analytics.
