Appen visar kända viltstråk baserat på tidigare viltolyckor. Ha appen igång när du kör bil så varnas du med en ljudsignal när du närmar dig ett område där ett flertal tidigare viltolyckor skett.

Informationen hämtas från webbplatsen www.viltolycka.se, där du kan få mer information om viltolyckor och läsa om vilka lagar och regler som gäller vid kollision med vilt.

Alla viltolyckor som inträffat från år 2010 och framåt används för att presentera olyckor på kartan. Dess positioner på kartan är angivna av jägarna som hjälpt till vid olyckan.

Appen ger dig även instruktioner om vad som ska göras om du kolliderar med vilt. Du får bland annat information om dina nuvarande koordinater, som du ska uppge till 112.

Mobiel schade melden is de app van het Verbond van Verzekeraar waarmee eenzijdige en tweezijdige autoschades kunnen worden gemeld. De Android app mobielschademelden vervangt hiermee het Europese schadeaangifte formulier. Een melding via deze Android app wordt automatisch doorgestuurd naar de juiste verzekeraar op basis van het kenteken van het voertuig. Via de e-mail krijg je als melder zelf ook een afschrift. Voertuiggegevens worden automatisch opgehaald, de locatie wordt opgehaald met behulp van GPS. Verder worden er veel minder vragen gesteld waardoor mobiel schade melden veel makkelijker wordt dan met het oude formulier.

Vrijwel alle Nederlandse verzekeraars en een aantal leasemaatschappijen willen graag dat u gebruik maakt van Mobiel schade melden.

mAIS - Ship Position Reporting

Are you sailing out of the range of MarineTraffic AIS receivers? Your vessel does not have an AIS transponder? Use your smart phone on board to report the positions of the vessel to MarineTraffic.

mAIS is a mobile application that makes possible to use your mobile device to report the positions of a vessel to MarineTraffic. GPS-enabled devices (iPhone/iPad and Android) can be used to report the position, the details and the status of a vessel in case an AIS transponder is not available or the vessel is out of the range of MarineTraffic's AIS receivers.

Intended use
The positions of a vessel will be reported if the application is started on the mobile device and whenever Internet connectivity is available. The position reporting will continue even if the app is running at the background on the device. This application is intended to be used only as a vessel's reporting tool and not as a personal location reporting tool. Therefore, it is important to be used only when the device is on board a vessel and it must be switched off whenever the device leaves the vessel.

This is not AIS
mAIS simulates the data transmitted by AIS transponders, however it only transmits data through the Internet and not through AIS radio-frequencies. It is clear that the information transmitted by mAIS is not visible by the AIS receivers of other vessels. It will be only displayed on MarineTraffic web site and apps. As such, mAIS is only a ship's self-reporting tool that does not substitute real AIS transmissions and it is not by any means related to the safety and navigation equipment of a vessel.

GPS-enabled Devices
mAIS will work on GPS-enabled Android devices, as long as the 'Location Services' are enabled. It may not work properly on iPod or iPad WiFi, as these devices do not have built-in GPS and the position reports may be not accurate.

Battery consumption
mAIS is continuously using the GPS of your device in order to report its positions. In most cases this is a power intensive operation and it will exhaust the battery of your device in a few hours. It is recommended to have your device plugged-in whenever you are using mAIS.

How to use it
A valid account registered at marinetraffic.com is required in order to start position reporting through the mAIS application. Register at http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/alerts.aspx The app must be configured to use the registered email and password as well as all valid details of the reporting vessel. A valid MMSI number together with the other details of the vessel (such as vessel's name, call-sign, dimensions, destination, ETA, etc) must be also configured in the app.

What if the vessel does not have a MMSI number assigned?
MMSI number is the key value for position reporting. A valid MMSI number, configured in mAIS app, is required in order to send position reports to MarineTraffic. It is possible that smaller vessels have not been assigned a MMSI number by their authorities. In this case you are still able to use mAIS, after having registered your vessel for a unique vessel's ID at this form on marinetraffic.com.

E-mail notifications
In order to avoid unwanted position reporting, MarineTraffic will send e-mail notifications at your registered e-mail address, whenever your app is active. This serves as a reminder that position reporting should only be active when you are at sea and must be turned off when at land.

Bandwidth consumption
The bandwidth consumed by mAIS is minimal. Even if mAIS is configured to send position reports at the highest frequency, it will use about 150 bytes/minute, which means about 210KB in one day or 6MB for a whole month of continuous use.

Completely Hands Free and Eyes Free Travel Alerts!

The only question we hear? "How do I turn it completely off". To completely quit the app, simply hit your device's "menu" button, and then select "Quit".

But while it is on, you can listen to your phone play Pennsylvania Turnpike travel advisories near you, in your direction of travel. As you travel, it will automatically keep you updated.
You don’t need to register, you don’t need to sign up anywhere for anything. The app uses the phone’s built-in GPS to stream nearby alerts.

Turn it on before you leave and it will start talking when you are getting near a roadway problem. Alerts pause when you are on the phone, and pick up where they left off when you finish.

To access the settings screen, press your device's "menu" button, and then select "Settings" to alter your settings. Don't forget to press "Save Settings" when you are finished.

To completely quit the app, simply hit your device's "menu" button, and then select "Quit"

How it Works
Start the application before starting out of your driveway. You will hear active Pennsylvania Turnpike advisories that are within your range. Now put down the phone and focus on driving. There is now nothing you need to touch on the phone, and nothing you need to read on the phone. This is completely hands-free.
The application will remain on while you drive, "broadcasting" any travel alerts for reported conditions within a set mile-range (that you can set for yourself) of your current location. If your phone is able to provide a high enough GPS precision, we will only notify you of advisories in your direction on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Once you are off the Turnpike or are no longer sending an accurate enough signal, we provide notifications on advisories in all directions (within your selected reporting radius) for your convenience.

Conditions will be broadcast once, and then the broadcast stream will go quiet until:

a. There is an update to an advisory in range, or
b. Until you have just come within range of another advisory or
c. A set time period has elapsed (that you get to set) and you want to re-hear all advisories that are still in range

If you get a call, or make a call while a travel alert is playing, the alert will pause, and will resume playing when the call has ended.

User Modifications Features/ Experience
You can modify several options. These configurations are saved on your phone.
a. The advisory replay interval
b. The All Points advisory replay interval
c. The range (in miles) for hearing advisories

The application gives you audio player controls for Play, Pause, Stop, Skip, and Replay All.
At any time you may turn off automatic reporting of your location for advisory updates. If you do, you can manually request advisories to play by pressing the "play" button, at which time the device will utilize the highest precision location tool available (whether it be GPS or cell tower triangulation).

You do not need to register with us or with the Pennsylvania Turnpike to use this app or to get these alerts. We don't get or record any identifying information about you or your phone. By default, you will be elected into reporting your device-determined speed along with your location to our servers, but you can elect to opt-out from within the application. You must opt-out of this selection each time the application is restarted.

The Technology
The application is based on Voicenet's patent pending "Open Microphone Platform", which is a queue-driven streaming technology platform used in combination with your phone's built-in GPS. The data for the system is the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission's travel advisory data.

Notice: Continuous GPS usage may cause increased loss of battery power.
