FYI: Use the back button when you exit the app. Otherwise your changes may not be saved. By making the app work that way, it helps to prolong the life of your phone's storage because it's not being written to as often as opposed to saving after each individual transaction is entered.

Did you ever wish you could balance your checkbook on your Android smartphone or tablet using a familiar interface that looks like a checkbook register? Well, here it is. It keeps track of multiple accounts with password protection and saves a list of descriptions/payees so that after you type something once you only need to click on it later. It also supports voiding, un-voiding, deleting, and editing transactions. You can even export your ledger as a comma separated value (CSV) file that can be loaded on most any spreadsheet software.

This is the ad-free version of Simple Checkbook Ledger Free. Other than the lack of ads, there is no difference in functionality between the two versions.
