RadarScope is a specialized display utility for weather enthusiasts and meteorologists that allows you to view NEXRAD Level 3 radar data and severe weather warnings. It can display the latest reflectivity, velocity, and other radar products from any NEXRAD radar site in the United States, Guam, and Puerto Rico. These aren't smoothed PNG or GIF images, this is real Level 3 radar data rendered in its original radial format for a high level of detail. For those National Weather Service radar sites which have been upgraded with dual-polarization technology, RadarScope displays most of those products as well.

Whether you are scanning reflectivity for a mesocyclone's tell-tale hook echo, trying to pinpoint the landfall of a hurricane's eye wall, or looking for small features like velocity couplets in the storm relative radial velocity product, RadarScope gives you the power to view true radial NEXRAD weather radar on your Android smartphone or tablet.

RadarScope displays tornado, severe thunderstorm, and flash flood warnings issued by the National Weather Service. When warnings are in effect, you can tap the warning button in the upper right corner to browse the list of active warnings, select a warning to view the details, and even zoom to the selected warning on the map.

Pinch or stretch to zoom in and out on the map. Drag your finger to scroll around. Use the Options menu to select one of the 156 different radar sites, or to plot your current location. Tap the play button to download and animate over the last six radar images. Display the names of over 25,000 cities and towns on the map as you zoom and scroll. Drag your finger over the color legend to see the data value associated with each color. Use a long press on a warning to read the release from the National Weather Service, or on a radar site to get detailed status information. Take screenshots directly from your device and send them via GMail or SMS. With the installation of other third-party applications, you can share your images via Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and more.

You can display Level 3 radar data from NOAA's public access web site or from your AllisonHouse subscriber account. Meanwhile, RadarScope will retrieve and display updated data automatically and intelligently (approximately every 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the radar scan strategy).

Radar Alive! brings live US weather radar to your Android from all states and Puerto Rico. It features a powerful, flexible user interface. Watch tornadoes, hurricanes and other weather events live and in fine detail. Track storm chasers and report your position through Spotter Network. Easily switch to the nearest radar with a long press on the map,

Radar Alive! is suitable for storm chasers, professional meteorologists, emergency personnel, SKYWARN and weather enthusiasts. It has a wide selection of US level-III radar products (image types). NWS severe weather warnings are displayed along with a customizable low clutter map with cities, roads, counties and states.

Unlike many radar apps, Radar Alive! generates precision images from NEXRAD Level III binary data. With its velocity images, you can even spot storms with tornadoes.

You can choose from a wide variety of radar products at multiple tilt angles, including composite and base reflectivity,
base and storm relative velocity, VIL, hydrometeor classification (what kind of precipitation) and others. Carefully simplified maps minimize screen clutter on the radar display.

The serious user will appreciate advanced features, such as controllable smart GPS usage to conserve battery power,
one tap or long press to select the nearest radar, maps optimized for weather radar, and more.

A full Spotter Network client is included. It can display the positions of active Spotter Network users. You can use it to automatically report your position to Spotter Network, and to make reports of weather events. It will run in the background even when the main app is not in use, and can be controlled from an icon in the notification bar of the device.

Radar Alive! was written by a dedicated storm chaser for the serious meteorological user.

Extensive help is available within the app. If you experience problems, or to learn how to best use Radar Alive Pro, use the menu button to select the help pages.

Support is available by email (or through the app), and suggestions are welcome.

18 fantastic weather widgets in 3 different sizes. Widgets with and without a clock. Widget displays weather forecasts for coming periods, up to a week ahead.

Weather forecasts contains details of up to 9 days ahead, and up to 4 periods a day. Weather data are provided by yr.no, and updated several times a day. How often you want to retrieve the latest weather data is up to you.

Application supports geo-positioning, and can retrieve the latest weather forecast for your current location.

Detailed forecast-information includes temperature, type of weather, wind speed, wind direction, expected rainfall, barometric pressure, sunrise, sunset and the length of day in hours and minutes. With one click, you also have direct access to hour-by-hour graph from yr.no through its pages.

All widgets with clock, can also be used as a shortcut to start programs. This saves you space on the desktop. All applications installed on the phone can be started with this feature.

New widgets released regularly, and requests for new widgets or features are considered on an ongoing basis. Free access to all future releases.

Currently supported languages: Norwegian, Swedish, English, Czech, Dutch, Danish, French, Italian, Russian

Finally, the famous Aeroweather app is now available on Android!

Get current and precise weather conditions (METAR) as well as weather forecasts (TAF), which are used by pilots for their flight preparations. You can choose worldwide airport weather stations from the built-in database by either name, ICAO or IATA code. Data will be shown in its original format or fully decoded into easy understandable texts.

** NOTE: in order to display temperatures in Fahrenheit, switch off "Show original units"!
