DroidEdit is a text and source code editor (similar to Notepad++ or gedit) for android tablets and phones with the following features:

- Syntax Highlighting for several languages (C, C++, C#, Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python, Ruby, Lua, LaTeX, SQL, ...)
- Several color themes
- Infinite undo & redo
- Search & replace
- Auto & block indentation
- Keep opened files and changes between sessions
- Open files directly from dropbox or a file manager
- Character encoding support
- Keyboard shortcuts (List below)
- Share documents with other services (dropbox, email, ...)
- Preview HTML files in browser
- Bracket matching
- Go to line
- Run Scripts in SL4A directly

Using different character encodings:

- To open a document with a different character encoding than the default: long press the open file button
- To create a new document with a different character encoding than the default: long press the new file button
- You can make this behavior the default in the preference screen

Long pressing the save document button allows you to save a document with a different filename

You should try the ad supported DroidEdit Free before buying this app. The ad supported version has exactly the same functionality as the paid version except it doesn't have SFTP support, Dropbox support, Custom themes and root mode.

Search your text files easily with DroidGrep, a grep like app for Android. With DroidGrep you can:

- Select the folder you want to search
- Select the file extensions you want to search
- Search using regular expressions or plain text
- Open the search results in your editor of choice
- Last search is saved between sessions

Attendance (beta)

Attendance is an app for teachers that want to take attendances in their classes using their phones. This is the first beta release of the app so expect some rough edges here and there.

With Attendance you can create courses, terms and course occurrences; create groups of students with different schedules; add students to groups; and finally take attendances. Attendance status can be configured for each occurrence and are Present, Absent and Late by default.

Attendance also supports importing student lists from text files, importing student photos and you can backup and restore the whole database.

You can also add notes to a student in a particular class and add a topic to a class for future reference.

In a future release, it will be possible to export to Excel, Markdown, HTML and other formats; and also e-mail students and a bunch of other planned features.

SSH Music Sync Free

A music synchronization app with a few unusual features:

- No dedicated server needed. Just a regular SSH server.
- Offline music selection.

If you have a large MP3 collection, you probably won't have space for it all on your mobile phone. Deciding which tracks deserve the honour of being selected can be a complicated task.

Often you'll remember about that song that you really liked to have with you but you always forget to copy it when you're at home.

With SSH Music Sync you can select which musics you want on your phone even if you are offline and when you get home you just have to synchronize them. You can even download musics remotely provided your server is visible from outside and you have a good WiFi or 3G connection (and a good data plan).

** This trial version only allows 20 musics to be selected.

How to use
----------

The 3 icons on top have the following functions:

- Synchronize the music database
- Download musics that have been selected
- Preference screen

The middle section of the interface contains a list with the same folder structure as that on your server. As all communications are done via SSH there is no possibility to read ID3 tags from all files. So a good folder structure is essential for an easy navigation.

You can enter/exit folders and select/deselect musics. You can a select/deselect a complete folder by long pressing on it.

Entries are color coded:

- Blue means nothing has been selected/downloaded in that folder.
- Green means there are musics selected but all have been downloaded.
- Red means there are musics selected but some of them aren't synchronized.

The bottom bar allows you to search/filter the main list and cancel operations.
