WHAT?

The uBike app can listen to ANT+ cycling sensors, displays the data beautifully on your Android phone (with graphs, multiple screens, etc). Moreover, you can also view your training live on our website (www.bikesenses.net) which is very handy for coaches and spectators. Our goal is give you correct data in an understandable way and to make your training more interesting and fun!

CYCLING SENSORS
uBike is a very intelligent app which can listen to many sensors (ANT+/ Bluetooth) while you cycling, such as:
- Speed Bike Sensor (Bontrager, Timex, etc)
- Cadence Bike Sensor (Garmin, Wahoo, etc)
- Heart Rate Monitor (e.g. Garmin, Adidas, BBB, etc)
- Cycling power meter (SRM, Power2Max, CycleOps, etc)

ABOUT THE PHONE
BroxTech developed an Android app specifically for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Active because the smartphone:
- Is waterproof and dustproof
- Supports ANT+ (Garmin, SRM, etc.)
- Is lightweight and designed for outdoor activities
- Has a handy holder for the handlebars

FUNCTIONALITY
- Easy pairing with Bluetooth and ANT+ sensors
- Real-time graphs while your cycling
- Dynamic display (you can choose what you want to see on you screen)
- Voice feedback, like every 2 minutes your haert rate or anything else you choose
- GPS tracking
- Built in upload to your own account in TrainingPeaks
- Easy exports (PWX-file, GPX-file, SRM-training file, FIT-trainings-file **)
- Live website with dynamic graph
- Email your cycling data to any email address you like

- Email button is now called Share
- With share you can send a message with all data and graphs
- Or you can upload your data to TrainingPeaks
- In mails you will now also receive TrainingPeaks PWX files. (PWX files can also be imported in Trailrunner)

- On the map you will now also see current data

- All attachments in one zipped file
- Work around for GMail not accepting zip files (extension changed to gz)

GENERAL
uWind is an Android app that connects easily to a Kestrel Weather Meter using Bluetooth communication. The weatherdata is displayed beautifully on your Android phone (with graphs, multiple screens, etc). Moreover, you can also view the weather-data live on your personal webpage: www.bikesenses.net. This might be handy for spectators or yourself when you can't be near the weather meter. Our goal is give you correct data in an understandable way and to make weather-data more interesting and fun!

HANDY HOLDER
We also developed a special handy holder for the Kestrel meter, so you can attach it to a pole on your roof, bikecycle handlebar, etc. You can order this holder in http://fietsenfilm.nl/broxtech/shop/cell-phone-holders/">our shop.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Supported Kestrel Models: K4000, K4000 NV, K4100, K4200, K4250, K4300, K4500, K4500 NV
It is encouraged that you pair your Kestrel device to your Android via the Android Bluetooth Settings prior to using uWind for the first time.
Step 1. Buy uWind in Google Play with your Android phone
Step 2. Turn on your Kestrel windmeter and go to settings
Step 3. Turn your Kestrel's logging OFF (Memory Options >> auto store = off)
Step 4. Turn your Kestrel's BlueTooth ON (then press 'info' for pin)
Step 5. Pair your Android with your Kestrel by entering the Kestrel Bluetooth-pin
Step 6. Start uWind App on you Android phone and then it should work
