PROGOROD is a fast and precise GPS/GLONASS car navigation with detailed maps of Russia and OpenStreetMap support.

After starting PROGOROD, go to "Map" menu and download any map you need.

Real-time Traffic Information is provided for Russian maps. Intellectual traffic algorithm called LOS analysis and calculates speeds taking into account statistically optimal speeds for particular roads, rather than maximum allowed speeds. The technology allows to reflect the real traffic situation utilizing really possible road capacities. It makes it possible to plan and drive even when other traffic services show 10 points jams.
Actual Real-time Traffic Information helps you to reach the destination in a shortest time.

Geoblog service provides an ability to create and view road events on-line. Created events become available to other PROGOROD users immediately. Each road event can be discussed from inside the application.

PROGOROD allows you to easily update navigation maps directly from your device. Just go to "Maps" menu and see which new or updated maps are currently available for downloading, choose a country you need and download to your device.

WARNING:

The default application language is Russian. The user interface can be switched to English in the application settings, but in some places Russian will still remain in use.

The main language for maps, search data base, voice guide sounds is Russian. This can't be changed.

The application provides platform independent input and display facilities, and it does not require Russian language to be supported by the device.

Recent changes:
1. Painting the route guide line by traffic colors.
2. Drawing of roads and traffic lines have been improved. Visibility of roads and traffic lines have been improved for Main, Warm and Lotus map styles.
3. The routing algorithm involving LOS has been improved.
4. Support for a new map file format (will be in use by the next maps update).
5. Visual and sounding support for "Pedestrian crossing" safety warning.
6. Other changes and improvements.
