Do you sometimes ask yourself what is the best way to remote control Winamp® with your Android Smartphone?

Here is the answer:

aWARemote for Winamp® is a WiFi remote control for Winamp® (for PC) providing the following features:
-Play/Pause, Next, Previous
-Playlist and basic editing
-Media Library (Audio and Playlists, DEMO with up to 400 Songs in free version)

-access saved playlists in Winamp® (max 4 in free version)

Check Preferences for Performance options and additional features.

You just need to install the server application from http://www.geb-dev.de (click on "Get Free Server") and (in the app) enter the IP Address of the host computer where Winamp runs.

- NEW: Widget should be more reliable overall now
- NEW: Android Jelly Bean notifications
- NEW: WaveControl support (Check WaveControl App on Play Store)
- FIX: Can't click first song in playlist
- FIX: Cut-Paste in free version pasted wrong song
- FIX: When adding an album from search to playlist, songs are added in the correct order now (if the song-number tag is present)
- FIX: Hopefully the the notification alert shows the correct song now
