Connect to an external bluetooth NMEA compatible GPS device. Mock provider allows other apps (Google Maps, GPSStatus, RMaps, OruxMaps, NDrive, c:geo ...etc) to work with the device.

### I always receive questions about how to use this app to connect their Notebook or PC, Mac ...etc. I have to clarify that the purpose of this app is to connect the Android with an external Bluetooth GPS device, in order to "replace" the android's internal GPS.

If your device crash occasionally, please first turn on the internal GPS before using the app. It is a known problem with some samsung devices.

### Please understand that the app frontend is just a frontend, mainly for controlling and configuration purpose, and providing some handy info. so don't expect it has many functions, shows every details and in any desired format...etc.

Now you can start/stop the service from other apps by sending the service or broadcast Intent :

Start - googoo.android.btgps.action.SERVICE_START
Stop - googoo.android.btgps.action.SERVICE_STOP
Toggle - googoo.android.btgps.action.SERIVCE_TOGGLE

* Note: You should first make sure you setup all the preferences and you can start the service correctly through the GUI frontend.

* try the workarounds (in preference) if failed to connect (eg, service discovery fail, connection refused)

Please report error or send me logcat if you got FC or any problems, with screen cap of any error messages, nmea log.

There are thousands combinations of [android version x mobile hardware x bluetooth gps hardware ]. Sorry that it is impossible to provide support on a particular hardware model. Even a GPS-A works with Mobile-A, but GPS-A may not work with Mobile-B, but Mobile-B works with GPS-B. However, after upgraded the android version, this combination does not work anymore, but the other combination works again. I always got such reports. I don't have any those hardwares, and even for some of them, I never heard before and cannot google any information about them. Hope you understand.

Balance Check HK

This app reads the remaining balance from octopus stored value card. Helpful if you always travel by mtr, or while you are queuing for bus or minibus. User may log the balance read by the app for later reference.

1. You need an Android device which support NFC (such as Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4 ...)
2. The very old octopus cards are not supported
3. This app can only perform read operation for the balance value from the open area of the card.
4. This app CANNOT and is IMPOSSIBLE to perform any operations which need authentication and authorization, nor any write operations.
5. We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by this app.

Gesture Search Bar

A good companion of Google Gesture Search. Launch GS from notification bar shortcut or by long press the Search button.

** Please reinstall if "Start after reboot" doesnt work.
** some handset like DroidX seems hardwired long press search to voice search, no workaround yet, you may refer to comments in other similar apps.

* 假如有用 Task Killer 之類的 app, 請將 HKRainDroid 從 task killer 剔除.

- 約每~30min從天文台下載數據, 請注意手機數據用量
- 已獲香港天文台授權使用有關數據
- 本程式只作參考, 可能唔準.. :o)
* 有時可能會因天文台數據問題而未能更新

- 預測不準確不要怪我, 我只是轉載天文台數據, 況且就算連天文台本身掌握大量數據也不可能百分百準確預測.

看到很多一句唔work ... 如何唔 work, 請給多些資料
- 完全打不開 ?
- 有否打開 "網路定位" ?
- 資料沒有更新 ? Service started ? 打開圖表, 如果可以下載但資料時間沒有更新, 那便是天文台 server 出了問題沒有更新.
- About 下面那行細字有否更新 ..?
- 不能下載顯示圖表 ?
- 明明被雨淋緊都沒有提示 ? 請 check 一下圖表人仔所在位置是否預測有雨, 如果天文台都沒有預測到, 程式也不可能有提示. 或許試用其他民間智慧作預測吧, 但不包括在本程式內.
- 無端端出了提示但等了一整天竟然一滴雨都無 ? 再 check 一下圖表是否真的有預測吧. 代hko說句, 預測始終是預測, 當參考吧. 如果不準我也沒辦法.
