Minimalistic cleaner for *ROOTED* devices, now with a scheduler!

CacheCleaner allows you to remove all the cache files from the internal memory and (optionally) from the SD card.
It runs either on-demand, or at scheduled times.
The list of cleaned applications can be selected, for example to prevent Google Maps' cached maps from being removed for offline use. Press the menu button in the application list for more options.

If you think the cleaning process runs too slowly, you can select “Old cleaning method” in the options.

If the cleaning process hangs or if it fails to clean anything, especially on Ice Cream Sandwich, please install BusyBox version 1.18.4 with JRummy16's BusyBox Installer.

(Some required features are broken in BusyBox version 1.19)

Recent changes:
2.16: Improved ICS compatibility.
If it still fails at some point, please install BusyBox version 1.18.4 (see details in app description) because most other versions are broken on ICS.
There's no way to avoid this problem in the app itself: if BusyBox can't list files correctly, this app can't delete them..

CacheCleaner allows you to remove all cache files with a single click.

Because internal memory is precious, and cache isn't.

It requires both root permissions and BusyBox (which can be installed from the Android Market) to function.

This is the original! If you're looking for a scheduled cleaner, try CacheCleaner NG..
