Are you looking for a Bible Game to play with friends and family? Game play for Group Guess - Bible is similar to Taboo, but with cards related to Biblical content for hours of fun.

The easy category has guess words such as Prophet, David and Meek, while the hard category has guess words such as Brimstone, Damascus and Multitude. How well do you know the Bible?

To play, groups should be divided into two teams. Team A selects a clue giver from their team who will attempt to get his or her team members to guess the main word at the top of each card without using any of the forbidden words below. Imagine trying to get your team to guess the word "Jericho," but you must describe it without using the words Joshua, Battle, Walls, Trumpets, or City.

Once the main word is guessed, another card appears and the team tries to collect as many cards as they can in the allotted time. If the clue giver says one of the forbidden words, the team will not be credited for that word.

After time expires, a player from Team B becomes the clue giver for their team. Teams alternate play until either team gets to a predetermined score, or until everyone has had a chance to be the clue giver.

You can select and play different categories depending on the crowd you are playing with, even turning off the Biblical guess words to play with standard guess words such as Table and Automobile. In the settings menu, you can select the category or categories you wish to play and the skill level (see screenshot). There are over 1,200 cards to play!

Unlike other similar apps, Group Guess penalizes the clue-giver for skipping cards. This is more like the original version, and keeps the clue-giver from simply skipping the difficult words. The app keeps score, remembers which cards have been played and promises to be the best Bible game on the Android Market!

This game is not associated with Hasbro's Taboo product, and is not specifically a bible taboo game.

Formerly "Guess With Friends - Categories"

Game play for Group Guess is similar to the Taboo group game, with all of the Group Guess categories in one app: baby showers, wedding showers, bachelorette parties and other events, with a dedicated set of cards for each occasion. Play one category or any combination. Currently, the available categories are:

-- Urban
-- Baby Shower
-- Biblical
-- Bridal Shower / Wedding Shower

This is the most complete and easy to play Taboo-like game on the Android market. Along with a host of features that similar apps overlook, Guess With Friends includes categories that you can select and play depending on your group. More categories will follow, and updates are free.

I created this app after playing the other poor versions of this game available. Additional features are:

-- Cards will not repeat until all cards have been played.
-- A point is lost for skipping a card or getting buzzed (see checks and x's in screen shot).
-- Score can be corrected at the end of each turn, in case an incorrect button is pressed during game play (see screenshot).

Game play for "Group Guess - Baby Shower" is similar to the Taboo group game, but with words dedicated to baby showers.

To play, groups should be divided into two teams. Team A selects a clue giver from their team who will attempt to get his or her team members to guess the main word at the top of each card without using any of the forbidden words below. Imagine trying to get your team to guess the word "Wipes," but you must describe it without using the words Diaper, Change, Wet, Poop or Clean.

Once the main word is guessed, another card appears and the team tries to collect as many cards as they can in the allotted time. If the clue giver says one of the forbidden words, the team will not be credited for that word.

After time expires, a player from Team B becomes the clue giver for their team. Teams alternate play until either team gets to a predetermined score, or until everyone has had a chance to be the clue giver.

You can play with the Baby Shower cards, a standard set of cards, or a combination of both. There are plenty of cards to play, and the cards will not repeat until ALL the cards have been played. You will enjoy playing all of these great words with friends.
