Astro On-The-Go

An update on issues regarding video playback for the Samsung S4 will be resolved in the future app update. In the interim, we would recommend that you follow the following steps to resolve the issue:

1) Go to Settings menu -> Choose the ‘More’ tab -> Scroll down to ‘About Phone’
2) Scroll down until you see ‘Build number’ -> Tap on the build number 7 times
3) Once the developer options is activated then go to Settings -> Tab "More" -> Developer options
4) Check the "Disable hardware overlays" box

How do I register for Astro On-The-Go?

Step 1: Create Astro ID
Visit www.astro.com.my and click the ‘Register’ button at the navigation bar on the top right corner to create your username (Astro ID). After registering, check your email and complete the verification process. For Astro customers, please get your Astro smartcard number ready for registration.

Step 2: Link Account/Subscribe & Pay for Astro On-The-Go
Link your account or purchase your selected content on Astro On-The-Go. Find out how on www.astro.com.my/onthego

Step 3: Download and Sign In
You can then visit www.astro.com.my/onthego and login with your Astro ID; or enjoy Astro On-The-Go via the Astro On-The-Go app from the Apple App or Google Play Store.

What are the streaming requirements?

We recommend a minimum continuous bandwidth of 1MB per second to access high quality streams.
