What started World War 2? Who was in it?
Adolf Hitler wanted more land, especially in the east, to expand Germany according to the Nazi policy of lebensraum. Hitler used the harsh limitations that were set against Germany in the Versailles Treaty as a pretext for Germany's right to acquire land where German-speaking people lived. Germany successfully used this reasoning to envelop two entire countries without starting a war.

After having gained both Austria and Czechoslovakia, Hitler was confident that he could again move east, this time acquiring Poland without having to fight Britain or France. (To eliminate the possibility of the Soviet Union fighting if Poland were attacked, Hitler made a pact with the Soviet Union - the Nazi-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact.)

World War 2 lasted from 1939 to 1945. The countries of the world aligned with either the Axis powers or the Allies and battled in a total war.

So that Germany did not officially seem the aggressor (which it was), Hitler needed an excuse for attacking Poland. It was Heinrich Himmler who came up with the idea; thus the plan was code-named Operation Himmler.

When Germany attacked Poland on September 1, 1939, other European countries felt they had to act.

When was the end of World War 2?
WW2 in Europe ended with the unconditional surrender of Germany in May 1945, but the exact date varies depending on which of the victorious allies you’re dealing with. The German surrender was given to the Western Allies (including Britain and the U.S.) on May 8th and to Russia on May 9th. In the East, the war ended when Japan surrendered unconditionally on August 5th, signing their surrender on September 2nd.

The beginning of the development of astrology is marked some thousands of years ago, when people noticed that in the sky, the stars or planets seemed to be moving against a background of clusters of other, smaller stars (constellations). After careful study they also observed that events on earth appeared to coincide with the locations of the planets in space.

The truth is that astrology along with horoscope predictions is simply a science of observation and no psychic powers are necessary to learn it. Intuition is helpful and some people will tend to rely on this gift but it is not vital to the astrologer, particularly whilst learning the skills.
Similarly, astronomy is a science close to common experience. Every curious person who gazes at the night sky becomes an astronomer, and yet the things we see in outer space are wholly outside our earthbound experience.
For three hundred years astronomers thought the universe consisted of only stars in our Milky Way, along with a handful of faint, fuzzy, and mysterious objects they called "nebulae." Most astronomers believed these objects were interspersed among the stars. Later, it was found that most of these objects were actually independent galaxies lying hundreds of millions of light-years from Earth. Early telescopes were unable to resolve the individual stars in these distant galaxies, so they appeared only as small nebulous smudges on the sky.
Astronomy is a young science, after all. Only in the last century or so have we truly come to understand the size and age of the universe we live in, neutron stars and other phenomena in astronomy. And finally, only in the last few years have we been able to find planets in orbit around other stars and the real possibility of life beyond Earth.

Manga are Japanese comic books. They are often made into Japanese cartoons, or Anime. They became very popular in the 20th century when laws prohibiting the publication of those kinds of items were lifted. It has since become a huge part of Japanese culture. They appear in various genres: drama, comedy, science fiction - to name but a few. Unlike in America, these stories are read by most people in the country. The artists and writers of these comic books are well respected for their work, much like the writers of literature in America.
Recently, these comic books have become popular in America as well. It has been a very successful new medium that has become very popular with young people. “English language” is undoubtedly the actual universal language. It is the world's second largest native language, the official in 70 countries, and English-speaking countries are responsible for about 40% of world's total GNP.
It can be at least understood almost everywhere among scholars and educated people, as it is the world media language, but also used on TV, pop music and the computer world. All over the planet people know many English words, their pronunciation and meaning.
The causes for this universality are very well known and understandable. It first began to spread during the 16th century with British Empire and was strongly reinforced in 20th by USA world domination in economic, political and military aspects and by the huge influence of American movies.
The concept of universality is more significant only now, in the era of world mass communication. Before this era Greek, Latin and French were to some extent universal, though mainly in Europe.
By a lucky coincidence due to factors above, this is one of the simplest and easiest natural languages in the world.
Of course the concept of easiness is relative, and it depends on your mother tongue. However the concept of simplicity is undeniable: it is an easy language to learn, understand and speak.
First of all, it uses Latin alphabet, the most universal, simple and short one (only the Greek alphabet is shorter and simpler). In addition, the Latin Alphabet presents its most "clean" form as a true alphabet with only 26 basic letters and no diacritics;

Verb conjugation is very simple and easy. Even for irregular verbs, there is almost no variation in person (except 3rd singular in present tense).
Regular verbs have only four forms. First two are Infinitive + Present, Past Tense + Past Participle. Another two are 3rd person singular Present Indicative and Present Participle.
There are almost no Inflections. No number or gender inflection for adjectives, articles, and adverbs. For adjectives there is only comparative and superlative, almost only number for nouns. In pronouns there are gender and number inflections and only three declension cases (Acc/Dat, Nom, Gen).
