Samsung Smart Care is a quick and easy way of checking the set up on your Samsung Android smartphone. This application (formally known as Diagnostics), provided by Samsung, gives you a really useful set of troubleshooting tools.

The application actively checks all the settings on your phone and will help you find and fix any issues without the need to look at all the setting menus, or contact the Customer Support helpdesk! The SmartCare software will highlight any unusual settings and put control back into your hands.

Meeting Mate (BETA)

MeetingMate (BETA) is a new application developed for enhanced meeting collaboration.
• It is focussed at face-to-face meetings and ad-hoc gatherings (“group huddles”)
• MeetingMate provides a full suite of collaboration tools including presentation sharing, group notes, file sharing and interactive whiteboards.
• Participants access to the meeting is fully controlled by the meeting host to ensure that the security of the meeting can be guaranteed.
• Steps to use:
• Launch MeetingMate and start the host server.
• On successful server start, an IP address will be displayed with option to create the meeting.
• On clicking create meeting option; the browser will be launched with screen to create the meeting. Enter the meeting details (title, your name, slides, etc) and start enrolment.
• In the enrolment view, other devices in the same network can join the meeting via their browser by entering the host IP address.
Alternatively, if the other devices also have MeetingMate installed, simple ‘scan’ and automatically connect to host to join the meeting
• Once all attendees have joined the meeting, you are ready to start the meeting.
• Once in the meeting, the host can pause, resume, close or handover (via virtual meeting room) the meeting session.
