Dear Brothers / Sisters thank you for showing interest in our new android apps for Amrit Bani Radio and greetings to all of you and all your family members.

Amrit Bani Radio is the world’s first Gurbani radio station where the majority of programs are broadcasted in the holy presence of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaaj. We have a specially designed room where the pavitar saroop of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is kept, a separate room for maharaaj’s sukh-aasan is also present at top floor of the studio.  

 As you know Amrit Bani Radio is working very hard for the last several years to spread the Gurbani and teachings of our Guru Ji throughout the world. Special programs are broadcasted on all occasions like Gurpurabs, Sangrands etc. Amrit Bani Radio has also started a special programme of Gurbani Santhiya which has already completed four times and it is continuing again. Thousands of people have learned the right way of pronouncing and reading Gurbani and thousands are still be learning.  

As Bhai Gurdas Ji said:

"Jaise Sat Mandir Kanchan Ke Usaar Dine" "Tesa Pun Sikh Kao Ik Shabad Sikhaye Ka"  

- You may build hundreds of temples with gold and donate but the teaching of one word of Gurbani to a Sikh is a more holy.   

Amrit Bani Radio is running solely with the co-operation of the saadh sangat and there are NO advertisments played at anytime unlike other radio stations. There should be at least one radio in this world for the Khalsa Panth where 24 hours nonstop Gurbani Kirtan, Katha, Ithaas etc. is broadcasted. Here at Amrit Bani Radio we aim to be that radio station with the help of you, the saadh sangat ji.

  There are over 7 hundred thousands sikhs living in the UK and countless sikhs living worldwide. Our aim is to get at least 2011 sikh families to come forward and donate £10 each month (£120 yearly) which will help us to spread the message of Guru Nanak Dev Ji to the whole world.

This radio is running with the co-operation of the saadh sangat ji but to keep it running we need more help from you. So we request you to come forward and extend your help by sending your Dasvand by...

You will be pleased to know that Amrit Bani TV channel (from UK) has finally launched their Android Application for your mobile device. Amrit Bani TV will be the first Gurbani channel of Khalsa Panth that will work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Through this channel you can watch daily Parkash of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

A special programme of Gurbani Vichar will be starting which can be watched twice a day, in the morning & in the evening. Today Sikh Panth is leading very prosperous life in the whole world. Our 1st Guru, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji laid the foundation of Sikhism that went through ten Gurus and finally tenth Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj started Khalsa Panth .Before he left this world, he attached Khalsa Panth with Shabad Guru.
He ordered that there would be no physical Guru except Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji, the Shabad Guru. He said that Shabad of all the Gurus would be our Guru. Whosoever reads Gurbani or listens to Gurbani will sure to reach the door of salvation. Today there is a need to unite the whole community. As it is age of media, every community is busy in spreading the teachings of their religion through Media. Though, we Sikhs are quite well off at our own places but when we talk of media, we are lacking behind. We thought over it and then decided to start a Gurbani channel from England which will work for twenty four hours a day. Through this channel, we will telecast various programs including Katha, Kirtan in all 31 Ragas, Sikh history, Complete Nitnem and much more. We will try our level best to attract our young generation towards Sikhism. We wish to spread the teachings of our Gurus in the whole world.

Such a great job cannot be accomplished by a Single person. Therefore, all of us need to unite and make Amrit Bani TV channel a Success. In order to send the message of Gurbani and teachings of our Gurus to the whole world we request Sangat Ji to contribute any amounts per month as per your wishes in order to meet the expenses of the channel.
