GPS Map is a free app that allows you to create, view, import and export locations on a map powered by Google Maps on Android devices.

Tour your Tracks on Google Earth! After using Menu, My Place, Start Recording Track, going somewhere and then Menu, My Place, Stop Recording Track that track can now be shown on on Google Earth Tour. Using Menu, More, Tracks, selecting a Track, Tour on Google Earth lets you build a custom tour.

You can customize the distance (range) and angle of the Google Earth camera. Time scale the tour from approximately the original to 1/100 of the original speed. Export to a file, share with another app, or view in Google Earth your custom tour.

Use almost any image from your Camera, Gallery, or file browsing app to create a Marker for a Placemark on the map. Images containing location information can be imported as Placemarks with their image as the Marker on the map.

GPS Map has the following features:

* My Location - a button over the map to allow you to center the map over your location.
* Marker Focus - a button over the map to allow you to center the map over the last Placemark that you selected.
* Layers - a button over the map to display a popup window to allow you to toggle the visibility of My Location, Placemarks, Satellite, Traffic, Track, and Route layers.

* Latitude - integrated with Google Latitude (part of Google Maps). Allows you to update your current Latitude location using either your real location, or a Mock Location. Allows importing your history of Latitude locations as Placemarks.
* Tracks - record your location over time and later view your Track colored according to your speed, or the color that you choose. Tracks can also be exported to KML and viewed in applications like Google Earth.
* Placemarks - mark and geodecode your current location with a Placemark and your own photo or image
* Change Location - change the location of a Placemark by pressing a new location on the map
* Mock Location - allows use of any Placemark to act as your current location
* Compass Mode - rotates map to face north instead of My Location arrow
* Images - import images for Markers, import Images with GPS Information as Markers and Placemarks, view images, select default image for new Placemarks, or delete images.
* Markers - Manage Placemarks by Marker, and filter for Main Map, Placemark list, and Export Placemarks.

Amazing Earth provides a list of spectacular places to view in Google Earth on your Android device.

Google Earth must be installed on your device for this application to function.

This app runs a web server on your device at http://localhost:8002/ to serve KMZ files to Google Earth.

KMLZ to Earth

KMLZ to Earth allows you to view KML and KMZ files on your Android device using Google Earth. If you are unable to view a KML or KMZ file or attachment in Google Earth, then this is the app that you need!

KMLZ to Earth allows you to browse through your local files to select a KML or KMZ file to display in Google Earth. It also allows you to view your saved email attachments in Google Earth.

In the Explorer activity, if you browse to a directory containing images with location information,
* Tap the file icon to view the photo closely
* Tap the file name to create a KMZ file
* Tap "View images to create KMZ" to create a KMZ file with the locations and images from multiple photos

In your email application, save the KML or KMZ file, and then tap it again to choose to view it with KMLZ to Earth.

Since Google Earth for Android doesn't seem to have published limits on file sizes, your success with files larger than 4MB may vary. Large files cause Google Earth to to load slowly, or if they are too large, not display them entirely. If this occurs, try to reduce the size of the images used or the number of images selected to create smaller KMZ files.

The size of the images shown in Google Earth decreases progressively as the total size of images are selected, in order to keep the total file size small enough to view on Google Earth for Android.

When creating a KMZ file, each image containing location information is shown as a thumbnail, along with the image name, time taken, resolution and size. Thumbnails can be tapped for a larger preview of the image. All, none, or individual files can be selected to create a KMZ file from images in one directory.

DO NOT PUT SPACES OR OTHER STRANGE CHARACTERS IN FILE NAMES! LETTER, NUMBER, UNDERSCORE, PERIOD, AND HYPHEN CHARACTERS ALLOWED. ANY ILLEGAL CHARACTERS WILL BE REPLACED WITH UNDERSCORES.

File names must end in ".jpg", ".kml", ".kmz" to be visible to view in KMLZ to Earth, and capitalization does not matter.

Files that you select to view are copied to the "Home" directory, typically /mnt/sdcard/kmlz. WARNING! Any file that does not end in ".kml" or ".kmz" will be deleted automatically from this directory, or when you choose to use Menu, Clear Home, and confirm.

The Home button will take you quickly to the /mnt/sdcard/kmlz directory (or a similar path) to see which files you have previously viewed, and view them again.

This app can't be set as default for any action, if you try, then it will reset itself. This ensures you the choice of action always and prevents a possible undesirable loop.

If experiencing problems with Google Earth, use the Menu, Manage Earth, and either Force Stop, Clear Data, or Clear Cache. Clear Cache is very helpful to get accurate results if you are testing the same file name multiple times.

Likewise, if experiencing problems with KMLZ to Earth, use the Menu, Manage KMZL, and either Force Stop, Clear Data, or Clear Cache.

This application runs a web server on your device at http://localhost:8001/ to serve pages from it's "Home" directory to Google Earth. In order to do this, it will have a running process in the background. A notification will be issued to remind you that this process is running. If you view the notification, then you return to the application, where pressing back will allow you to terminate the application and the background web server process.

Tracking your location is now able to continue even if your device goes to sleep. Graphs of Tracks are now available. The notification shows distance, time and average speed when recording a Track.

The status area is improved always allowing you to view status information about your location, the focused Placemark, your latest Route, or most recently viewed Track. Tap the new icon on the left side of the status area to select the status information.

Once you press the Search button, where you go is up to you, you can use the Play Store app or a browser! The Play Store Android app cannot perform the Best Selling in Games collection search, so use a browser to perform that search.

As a convenience, I have pre-loaded some keywords in the database used for the AutoComplete of text entered. For developers, Google Inc., and WrightRocket are included. For application classpaths, I have pre-loaded the applications that I have developed.

If you want to clear the keywords that you have entered, or that were pre-loaded in the database, then use the menu and choose "Clear Searches".

Use the menu and "Settings" to acccess the only Preference currently available: the maturity level that is applied to the search. I make no guarantee about whether it will produce safe results.

KMLZ to Earth Pro allows you to view KML and KMZ files on your Android device using Google Earth with advertising. If you are unable to view a KML or KMZ file or attachment in Google Earth, then this is the app that you need!

Do you want to show off the photos in a slideshow that you have on your device?

The Show allows you to view your images in a Slideshow, Widgets on your home screens with Live Wallpaper.

When you run the application, you are ready to start a slideshow.

Tap the play button to start the show, the stop button to stop the show.

Touch the bottom half of the screen to hide or display the controls.

Touch the top half of the screen to quickly stop or start the show.

Long press the screen to zoom an image or restart the slide show.

The images are sorted according to the date in descending order. As the show moves forward, the images start moving backward through time.

Swipe left or right to change the direction of the slideshow.

Swipe up or down to speed up or slow down the duration between images of the slideshow.

Long press to zoom an image or to restart the slideshow. Press back to leave zooming an image.

Touch the bottom half of the screen to hide/display the controls:
* Move a slide backward and/or continue moving backward
* Stop or start moving the slideshow

Beware using the option in the settings to "Keep the device awake", will keep the device display on, potentially draining the battery. This option prevents your device from sleeping, so that the slideshow will remain visible. If running a long slideshow, it is recommended to connect your device to a charging source.

TimeIt

TimeIt allows you to track multiple timers for multiple events, and receive notifications when the timer is supposed to end.

- Timers calculate your actual and goal speed per time unit
- Multiple timers can be running simultaneously
- If a goal is set when a timer is started, a notification will be sent when the goal time is reached
- Notifications will be sent for started timers with goals even if the phone is rebooted
- Timers can be archived before being cleared and reused

Recent changes:
Added landscape orientation, and changes to dialog boxes to accommodate smaller screens. Fixed a problem that occurred in Eclair (2.1), but not Froyo (2.2) when starting a timer.
