While most PC users don't even notice them, for a smartphone user they become quite noticeable for requests that would normally go to installed apps, like Youtube. Depending on the performance of the device the detour might add a couple of seconds to the URl-call.
NoDetour tries to solve that problem by decrypting the URL on the fly and directly showing the right app.

Another problem with short-URL is that the user doesn't know to which site he will be redirected. So for all those who like their parties without lemons, NoDetour gives you the option to display the long-url before opening it

If you have any suggestions or problems, feel free to email me.

Credit goes to LongURL ( http://longurl.org/ ) for having such an easy API and to my friend Marius for creating an icon for me :)

Recent changes:
-Fixed User-Agent in header
-Removed minor redundancies
