There's no ads whatsoever.

WordLookup allows you to view word definitions easily as you browse the web, and when using apps. It's like the popular Google Chrome extension Google Dictionary, but for Android! If you have found this useful, please do rate, share & comment!

Simply hold&select the word you wish to look up, share it with WordLookup and a small notification popup will show a few definitions for the word! It's that simple! No need to open another dictionary app! The little popup does not block you from browsing the web, as it is unobstructive and fades away after a short while.

Here's how to use it:
1- Hold and select the word you'd like to get the definitions.
2- Select the Share button in the menu/Action Bar.
3- Share text to WordLookup.
4- The definitions should show up in a bit as a popup(Toast) notification.

Supported Apps:
-ICS Android Browser
-Google Chrome
-ICS Gmail and Email app
-Google Reader
-Pulse
-Many,many others. More will be added in this list.

Right now, this app is only tested on Android 4.0 - Ice Cream Sandwich, as many apps on earlier versions of Android do not support sharing text, your mileage may vary, though. It uses the Wordnik API to get definitions, so a Data/WIFI network connection is required.

The options allows you to customize the notifications, such as the number of definitions shown and display time. Features like using other dictionary sources (offline dictionaries) are coming soon!

Recent changes:
0.2.0 - Text to speech now functional. Also some bug fix and optimization, so app should run faster now.
0.1.5 - Added a loading screen popup + optimizations.
0.1.2 - bugfix release for some crashes
0.1.1 - Improved the look of the popup, the filtering algorithm, and bugfixes.
0.1 - Initial release

Morbid Death Clock/Calculator

*if you like this app, please give it a rating and share!*

Morbid Death Clock is a calculator app that calculates life expectancy for a given person.

Lifestyle factors such as smoking, driving, and exercise can make the most impact on your life expectancy. Using statistics that are matched to your profile, it is possible to estimate a very rough approximation of your expected life span.

Share your life expectancy on facebook and surprise your friends with theirs! TakeABreak lets you quickly find nearby public restrooms and drinking water fountains close to you. The app is good for hikers, bikers and urban dwellers alike! You can also choose to find nearby restaurants, but you may have to be a consumer of a store or restaurant in order to use the amenities.

The app queries the massive openstreetmap.org database for data, so anyone can add and make edits to the database. OpenStreetMap (OSM) is an open project to create a freely available map, a bit like the Wikipedia of maps. However, the database is not yet complete, and the usefulness of this app depends a lot on the completeness of the OSM database around you. Generally, OSM has more data in European cities than elsewhere. If you know some locations that's missing on the map, you're more than welcome to add them to the global OpenStreetMap database.

Features:
*Find nearby water tap, restrooms, toilets, and restaurants.
*Switch between Satellite view, Hybrid, Terrain and Regular map.
*Uses the new Google Maps v2 API for best look and performance.
*Supports many map gestures
*Directions via Google Maps
*Options to change what to see

Permissions Breakdown:
INTERNET: Access the required APIs to get data
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Display error if there is no connection
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Required for ad-network
READ_GSERVICES: Needed for Google Maps
ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Needed for location fetching
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION: Needed for location fetching
READ_PHONE_STATE: Required for ad-network
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: Display error if there is no connection
*Note that this app is ad-supported.

Recent changes:
1.1 - bugfix
1.0 - initial release

Has the World Ended Yet?

With this free app, you will be the first to know if an End Time scenario has occurred, such as a zombie outbreak, nuclear holocaust, Godzilla, 2012, Alien attack, Cthulhu... you name it!

Our team of cryogenically frozen Agents will be awakened immediately to update the status of this app if such an event occurs.

WARNING: This app does NOT guarantee survival in the event of an end-of-the-world scenario.
