Want to wake up refreshed? Every time you sleep, you enter into a series of REM sleep cycles that last for around 90 minutes, and waking up during one of the cycles will make you feel groggy and exhausted.

SleepyTime is an app designed to help you wake up in-between sleep cycles and allows you to start the day with a clear mind.

This app detects nearby electromagnetic fields using the phone's built-in magnetometer/compass. Depending on your phone, you can use it to detect metals up to 15cm away, and magnets from far, far away! Note that household equipment like TVs, and computers or even your phone case can affect readings.

===How to use this app?===
Very simple, just move the app around and read the measurements, if the magnetic field readings go over a critical level, the phone will vibrate, meaning a ferromagnetic material is nearby.

If the readings aren't getting updated, make sure your phone is equipped with a magnetometer.

If the readings seems to be off, it means that your sensors needs to be re-calibrated, click the re-calibration button (refresh icon) for instructions.

WordLookup

Permissions info: It requires Internet to fetch definitions via the Wordnik API. There's no ads whatsoever.

WordLookup allows you to view word definitions easily as you browse the web, and when using apps. It's like the popular Google Chrome extension Google Dictionary, but for Android! If you have found this useful, please do rate, share & comment!

Simply hold&select the word you wish to look up, share it with WordLookup and a small notification popup will show a few definitions for the word! It's that simple! No need to open another dictionary app! The little popup does not block you from browsing the web, as it is unobstructive and fades away after a short while.

Here's how to use it:
1- Hold and select the word you'd like to get the definitions.
2- Select the Share button in the menu/Action Bar.
3- Share text to WordLookup.
4- The definitions should show up in a bit as a popup(Toast) notification.

-ICS Gmail and Email app

-Pulse
-Many,many others. More will be added in this list.

Right now, this app is only tested on Android 4.0 - Ice Cream Sandwich, as many apps on earlier versions of Android do not support sharing text, your mileage may vary, though. It uses the Wordnik API to get definitions, so a Data/WIFI network connection is required.

The options allows you to customize the notifications, such as the number of definitions shown and display time. Features like using other dictionary sources (offline dictionaries) are coming soon!

Never get lost looking for a bathroom or a water fountain again! TakeABreak lets you quickly find nearby public restrooms and drinking water fountains close to you. The app is good for hikers, bikers and urban dwellers alike! You can also choose to find nearby restaurants, but you may have to be a consumer of a store or restaurant in order to use the amenities.

The app queries the massive openstreetmap.org database for data, so anyone can add and make edits to the database. OpenStreetMap (OSM) is an open project to create a freely available map, a bit like the Wikipedia of maps. However, the database is not yet complete, and the usefulness of this app depends a lot on the completeness of the OSM database around you. Generally, OSM has more data in European cities than elsewhere. If you know some locations that's missing on the map, you're more than welcome to add them to the global OpenStreetMap database.
