Himpunan Fatwa is an app with a collection of Fatwa sourced from Jakim Malaysia e-fatwa.gov.my

There are four icons - default is search page, the second is listing, third is to sync database and last to quit app.

For best experience, tap sync (the gear icon) and then start reading.

The app requires internet access for searching contents and initial downloading of data. First time access to the listing may take a while depending on your bandwidth; so be patient.

Data will remain unless cache or data is cleared.

Waktu solat

Waktu solat uses your geolocation to determine solat time, direction of Kaabah and nearest mosques.

Specifically for Muslims, especially in Malaysia and those who use *Egyptian General Authority of Survey method to determine the solat time.

The app will determine solat time/prayer time from your geo location.

Now the app will also search for nearest mosque within 5.5 km radius using Google Places. Mosques not marked in Places would not be marked.

*There are several conventions for calculating prayer times and this app uses the Egyptian General Authority of Survey method to determine the solat time.

Please allow +- 3 minute allowance for the solat time. Enable GPS and wireless for better geo location

Halal Check

The app will let you check for certified halal products, premises and menu from Jakim (halal.gov.my). This is not an official app from Jakim.

We have to rely on user submission since we do not have product upc/ean database. If you have one and would like to contribute, email dev.

So, before 1* please re-read the above.
Features:
- ability to search using keywords
- ability to search all, premise or menu
- ability to contribute by scanning bar code and submitting it. Note that no confirmation will be asked before submission. Please only add in real values.
- ability to scan bar code and search. However, this depends on the contribution from the community. Garbage in garbage out, so hopefully the community will help ensure good data.

The app has three icons:
- to search via keywords
- to search via scanning bar code
- to quit

Before rating 1*, please email us so we can rectify the issues. As stated - this app is mainly for malaysians. ignore the non malaysian comments :P

Al Quran Juz 'Amma contains the last chapter of Al Quran. The app has audio recitation by Mishari ibn Rashid al-`Afasy with English Narration by Saabir and English Translation by Dr Taqi Hilali, Dr Muhsin. The audio is from Quran4u.com

Good for listening and understanding Al Quran while telecommuting or on the go. The app is quite sizable, so use wireless when installing.
